Once upon a time...

In a land far away, there was a little house, in a small village in the realm of Cambridge. The
house had a tiny garden, where a dog liked to lay in the sun. From the outside the house looked
quite normal, but inside it was very different, inside it was very curious indeed. The house felt
strangely familiar, yet everything was somehow a little unexpected, different, even odd. The
house belonged to two artists who loved to make things and fix things, and it is there we begin
the story...

Not six inches high...

Small is beautiful meets a moment of genius, a perfect tiny chandelier suspended inside a glass
lightbulb and hung on braided silken cable.
The ‘King Edison’ pendant lamp combines the pure simplicity of an Edison light bulb with the
romance and glamour of a Kings chandelier. It consists of a miniature brass chandelier inside
a hand blown clear glass shade and satin chrome fittings. Ideal for hanging individually or in
clusters for maximum effect.

It was a magic carpet...

“Persian Cowhide Rug designed by Young & Battaglia
Made in England
The piece is a playful and unexpected marriage between two of the most iconic rugs in the
world. The meticulous and geometric Persian carpet is seamlessly combined with the natural
irregularity of an animal skin rug. The design is made possible by digitally printing on to a spe-
cial fabric backed rubber which is then hand cut in to its final hide shape. Unlike real cowhides
this one is hypo-allergenic, washable, non-slip, and will not curl up at the edges.

In the enchanted forest...

Hand made in England, these button-back sofas are a modern twist on those found in a
traditional gentleman’s club. The ‘Miss Chester II’ collection ignores classic conventions and
takes a step or two further into modern design.

Hubble, bubble, toil and trouble...

“Cauldron Pendant Lamps” designed by Young & Battaglia
Made in England
This ultra-modern range is powerful in its simplicity yet takes it’s inspiration from the cooking
pots and storage jars of centuries ago. Perfect curves combine with smoky black glass to create
something of beauty. The curved pendant lights cast just the right amount of light over a single
important spot, or hang several in a row for a show-stopping statement.

The objects were alive...

“Monsieur Mint”

This canvas portrays a cheekily defaced French king, blending classic art with modern day
mischief. The ornate, white frame is not as it seems; in fact it’s printed onto the canvas.
This beautiful print is available in three sizes and is ideal as a feature piece in both domestic and
commercial interiors.
