FRANK MILLS FOOTBALL COMPLETE FANTASY FOOTBALL DRAFT GUIDE

FRANK MILLS FOOTBALL COMPLETE FANTASY FOOTBALL DRAFT GUIDE

ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

Hello, my name is Frank Mills. This is the first issue of Frank Mills Football Complete Fantasy
Draft Guide. This is a total team effort of four guys that absolutely love the game of Football.
This project would not have been started or successfully completed without the research, input,
and extremely hard work of this team. We are very proud of this first swing at a project that was
extremely daunting at best and at times were overwhelmed, grumpy and frustrated but fought
through it like champs. We would not be denied. We prevailed and got it done.

The guy who brought it all together was Buddy Andrade. He is the Fantasy Guru, the Football
Expert, this is what I titled him after working with him for over the last year or so. So, let me fill
you in on how all of this really started. I started a podcast a while back called Frank Mills Show,
unique right? It is a sports podcast that I started from scratch and after a while I wanted to have
another person on the show as a regular instead of just interviewing guests all the time or being
solo on subjects. I started searching and setting up calls and talked to several potential options
to have on the show. I was not sure what I was looking for other than someone I just liked and
felt would have good chemistry with me on the show, hard to do on one phone call.

I do not believe in coincidences; things happen for a reason and at the exact moment when I
was getting frustrated Buddy Andrade sent me a connection request on LinkedIn. I get a lot of
them, so I just took a quick look and accepted. I noticed that he had a broadcasting background
and extensive football draft knowledge too. I was intrigued and wanted to talk to him. I have a
kind of blunt way of charging in and telling someone what the deal is, some people do not like
that some just never email or call again, I get that and am ok with it.

Buddy and I set up a time to talk and I gave him the spiel, he listened and listened and listened
some more. I did most of the talking…as usual. It is me; it is who I am. I have a lot to say and if
you listen to the show, you get what I am talking about. He did ask some questions about what I
was looking for and after another call I had a gut feeling about Buddy. I mean he did not check
all the boxes of the dream list I put together, but later I found out he was much more that our
first couple of conversations covered.

We started with a show here and there, then moved to once a week, then to twice a week and
the more shows we did the better we both did, the chemistry was building. We decided to
change Frank Mills Show to a football only show instead of all sports and started to do daily
shows. Something just was not right though; Frank Mills Show was and should have stayed all
sports as it is again now. Well things got crazy and instead of 2 podcast I decided on 4 podcasts
and started Frank Mills Entertainment. Buddy and I started Frank Mills Football, he named it, not
me and weekly football podcasts were back with a cool new logo, brand new website, and a
couple of geeked up fantasy footballers and football fans. We wanted more.

We started the Frank Mills Football Podcast, All Football All the Time and the website covered
Football as well, as much as we could think of and it grew from there. Then Buddy suggested a
Fantasy Football guide for this season. We had talked about this for next season, but this is
something we felt we had a chance to do. Buddy put together a staff and we all started working
towards the goal, the goal of a Complete Fantasy Football Guide for every type of Fantasy
Football League, scoring system, every type of player, new or experienced. Well here it is, and
our goal was to offer a COMPLETE guide to help you win your league. Good Luck!

Last but so very far from least, we all want to thank our wives, significant others, daughters and
sons, family and friends for their support, help, inspiration, and guidance with this project.
By the way, on the next page are the bios of the amazing team here at Frank Mills Football.

FOR THE ROOKIES

By John Mendoza @JMendonzanfl

WHAT IS FANTASY FOOTBALL?

WELCOME, ROOKIE

So, you finally caved. Ron from Accounting has been pestering you to join the company
“Fantasy Football league” for years now. Or that one random relative tells you that they are
“One player short for this year’s league!” After all these years of avoiding the buzz or telling
yourself that you are “too busy” or maybe you are just simply not that into football. Or maybe
you have always wanted to play, and this was your golden opportunity. Nevertheless, you are
here and ready to learn about the game that draws 41 million players annually.

But aside from all the chatter in the office or the constant commercials airing this time of year,
what is Fantasy Football?

There probably is not ever going to be one definitive answer for what fantasy football truly is. In
my many years of playing, it has a few definitions that come to mind. Fantasy football is:

● A way to experience football like never
● A way to connect with and develop a community between complete internet strangers,

family, and friends
● A journey, one with many highs and lows and even more exhilarating triumphs and

agonizing defeats
● An excuse to check your phone obsessively every day during the NFL season (as if we

do not already)
● Insanely fun

However, a more textbook definition of Fantasy Football would likely be: a statistical-based
game based on the production of individual NFL players, assigned (drafted) to one unifying
team, where the NFL player’s statistical performances earn a player a set number of points.

But that textbook definition is not what draws tens of millions of players to return each year.
Fantasy Football is, by all accounts, a lifestyle as much as it is a hobby. Each year players from
around the world gather to gear up for another season of the NFL, and now, you are one of
them. Congratulations on taking the first step towards deepening your knowledge of the game of
football and picking up one of the most fun ways to experience the NFL season. Welcome,
rookie. Let’s get started.

THE BASICS

As we talked about in the intro, at the end of the day Fantasy football is a game based solely on
statistics. You will find yourself assembling a team of NFL players from various teams, and you
will get points based on their on-field performances. One of the best parts about Fantasy
Football is that even great players on bad teams can be valuable on losing teams.

For example, if the 3-10 Detroit Lions get smashed by the 10-3 Green Bay Packers, but
Matthew Stafford still threw for 450 yards and 3 touchdowns, that would still be spectacular day
for whoever had Stafford as their starting quarterback. A team’s record and wins/losses have no
effect on the amount of points a player scores for their fantasy team – it is purely statistical-
based.

Look at the sample team below to see how players’ performance on the stats sheet translate to
points in fantasy football:

Position Player’s Statistics Points System Fantasy Points

Drew Brees, QB 400 yards passing, 4 25 passing yards = 1 32
TDs point, 1 passing TD = 12
Dalvin Cook, RB 11
Phillip Lindsay, RB 120 yards rushing 4 points 9
10 rushing yards = 1 12
Amari Cooper, WR 60 yards rushing, 50
yards receiving point 25
Jarvis Landry, WR 10 rushing yards = 1
110 yards receiving, 1 point, 10 receiving 9
Miles Sanders, FLEX fumble lost 9
yards = 1 point 10
Darren Waller, TE 60 yards receiving, 1
Dan Bailey, K TD 10 yards receiving = 129
New England 1 point, 1 fumble
Defense 130 yards rushing, 2 lost= -2 points
TDs
Total: 10 yards receiving =
90 yards receiving 1 point, 1

3 field goals rushing/receiving TD
10 points allowed, 1 = 6 points

sack, 1 INT 10 rushing yards = 1
point, 1

rushing/receiving TD
= 6 points

10 yards receiving =
1 point

1 FG made = 3 points

10 points allowed = 6
points, 1 sack = 1
point, 1 INT = 2
points

The above table is just a sample of how players’ statistics are then converted into fantasy points
for whoever has them on their team. It is important to note that different leagues have different
rulesets where some statistics are worth more (or less) than others. For example, some leagues
still give their quarterbacks a full 6 points for throwing a touchdown pass, while most modern-
day leagues limit passing touchdowns to only 4 points. This brings us to our topic:

DIFFERENT TYPES OF LEAGUES

Whether you are debating on which league to join, or you already committed to one, it is very
important to know what type of league you will be a part of.

Different leagues have different scoring types, rules, number of teams allowed, etc. For first time
players, we recommend doing what you think logically makes sense or what makes you
comfortable as a rookie player still learning the game.

MONEY/FEES

Before even committing to a league, you should confirm with the league’s commissioner about
any fees/money that are due to join the league. Some leagues are free and simply for fun and
good ole bragging rights. Others have an entry fee, where the winner of the league gets paid
whatever was in the pot. As a rookie, playing for money might sound intimidating, or you might
be fine with it. Either way, make sure you know exactly what is due before jumping straight in.

NUMBER OF TEAMS

We will start with the first thing you might see when approaching or signing up for the league
you have been invited too. Typically, leagues have 8, 10, or 12 players. Each with their own sets
of strengths and weaknesses. 8-player leagues leave plenty of good players for more “talented”
starting rosters and a deeper selection of players for when injuries begin to take their toll later in
the season. 12-player leagues bring out more “skill” when drafting and filling out a player’s
roster, with every move being more meaningful than 8-player leagues. Some players find 10-
player leagues as a happy medium, recommended for rookies. Some hardcore players will play
in 14 and 16-player leagues, but that is certainly not recommended for first-time players.

STANDARD LEAGUES

Your vanilla, bread, and butter league. 8-12 teams, with (lightly varying) standard rules.
Standard leagues are the most popular and preferred league types. In a standard league, all
players’ teams are reset for the upcoming season, and all players become available to draft.

KEEPER LEAGUES

Something that is become more popular in more recent years is the installation of a “keeper.” To
put it simply, a “keeper” league allows players to keep one player from their roster from the
previous year. For example, if Player A had Cincinnati Bengals running back Joe Mixon on their
2019 roster, that player might elect to “keep” Mixon, who will automatically be put on Player A’s
roster for 2020 before the season begins. Depending on the league, players cannot be retained
two seasons in a row. In that instance, Player A would not get to keep Mixon for the 2021
season and must pick a different player from their 2020 roster.

As a new player in general, or a new player to a league, make sure you contact the league’s
commissioner if the league you are joining is a keeper league. Generally, if a league had a spot
open due to a player’s departure, you would get to choose a player from that person’s roster
from the previous season.

DYNASTY LEAGUES

Dynasty Leagues are a more intense version of “Keeper” leagues. In a Keeper league, teams
usually get to retain no more than 1-2 players. However, in a dynasty league, players would get
to retain several players, echoing the realism of a normal NFL franchise. Teams can hold onto a
player for as long as they would like, sometimes spanning an entire decade until that player
retires. These leagues are typically for veteran players and usually run between close families
and friends.

AUCTION LEAGUES

While not too uncommon, Auction leagues are some players’ preferred way to experience
fantasy football. In an auction league, league players are given a set amount of “money” and
then bid for the players they want. Are you crazy about Christian McCaffrey? No problem! All
you must do is outbid the guy next to you. But be careful not to spend too much money on one
set player/position.

PPR LEAGUES

While not necessarily a “type” of league but rather the most divisive rule that separates league
types as well as pre-draft rankings. PPR stands for “points per reception.” Meaning that any
player who catches a pass will receive an additional point for catching the pass, and then the
corresponding points for the yards gained on that same play. If a player catches 5 passes in one
game, which would mean that player would get 5 points in addition to their total yardage and
touchdowns from that same game. There is no right or wrong way to decide if the league you
participate in should be standard-scoring, or PPR. It is purely up to player preference. However,
it should be noted that in more recent years, more and more leagues have begun favoring PPR
scoring formats.

HOW TO PREPARE

THE DRAFT

You have found out what kind of league you are in and now you are ready to start preparing for
your league’s fantasy football draft. The draft is how you will be getting the players that are on
your team for the season. Almost all the fantasy football drafts, regardless of league size, have
a “snake-style” draft. Meaning that the person with the first overall pick in the first round will
subsequently get the last pick in the second round. The person with the last pick in the first
round, will get to select first in the second round, and so on for everyone else picking between
them.

WHO TO SELECT?

Despite what anyone on the internet tells you: there is no definitive best way to draft. The joy,
skill, and dumbfound luck of the draw with fantasy football is that any type of strategy can pay
off and win a player a championship. Remember, just like the real NFL that fantasy is based on
– players will get injured, others will underperform, others will blow away anyone’s offseason
expectations of them. At the end of the day, no one knows anything before the season starts.

We can still provide insight on some proven strategies and relatively “safe” advice when it
comes to preparing for the draft. Later in this magazine, you will get to see how we rank players
sorted by position as well as overall rankings. A lot of player rankings are based off their
previous season’s performance. Other things to take into consideration are players who
switched teams, whose teams improved in the offseason, and rookies who entered the NFL with
a chance to shine for their team.

The best advice is to go with your gut. Look at different rankings from different sources and take
note of common themes and trends among them. Later in this magazine, we will give you our
own perspective on how players stack up against one another.

DRAFT STRATEGY – WHERE TO PICK?

Every league puts their players in draft slots differently. Some are completely random, some will
let you pick, and others will be based on how the league standings finished last year. But that
begs the question: Where should you hope to draft? The answer is: wherever you are
comfortable. Take some time to do a few practice drafts and see where your favorite players are
being picked. From there you can gauge what draft spot would best suit your strategy. If your
draft selection is completely randomized, then this step becomes a moot point. Instead, focus
on which players might be available when you are on the clock.

DRAFT STRATEGY – WHO TO PICK?

Remember, there is no right or wrong strategy when it comes to fantasy football. There are
some helpful tips we can provide you with for a well-rounded draft:

● Running backs and wide receivers will be selected early. These positions generally
score the most points, and it is important to have as many on hand as possible in case
of injury.

● Quarterbacks now can all perform well in today’s pass-happy NFL. Aside from the elites
like Patrick Mahomes and Lamar Jackson, there is really no rush to get a quarterback
unless you are absolutely smitten with one.

● Is a tight end worth it early? Think about all the starting tight ends in the NFL. Can’t
name them all? That is because the ones that produce well consistently are few and far
between. Sometimes, but not always, it might be worth selecting a tight end early
instead of another running back/wide receiver

● Defenses can wait until the later rounds – don’t let an early run on defenses scare you
into taking one early.

● Do not take a kicker before the second to final round. Ever.

Remember, every league’s scoring is different. Be sure to review your league’s rules to see
what points are awarded for certain stats. If your league still gives quarterbacks 6 points for a
touchdown pass, then a quarterback might be worth taking earlier than expected.

TOOLS TO PRACTICE – MASTERING THE ART OF THE “MOCK DRAFT”

Most fantasy football websites such as ESPN, NFL.com, and Yahoo have a wonderful tool that
all players (new and old) should take advantage of: Mock Drafts. These are “practice” drafts
where players can practice drafting as if it were the real thing, where the results are only
documented to view for later. These sites will also grade or give feedback for your draft results,
helping you improve for a better-rounded team.

THE ULTIMATE ROOKIE MISTAKE

Do not drink and draft – keep your head clear, then crack one open during the final round to
celebrate.

THE DRAFT IS NOT EVERYTHING - KEEPING UP WITH THE JONESES

Think about all the ups and downs your favorite NFL team goes through during the regular
season. You can expect the same from your fantasy team as well. Injuries will happen, and that
player you knew would break out in 2020 will simply underperform all the way to a bench spot.

It is important to understand that the draft is only half the battle - an entire season’s worth of
work is required to run a successful team.

START ‘EM SIT ‘EM

Throughout the season, you might see your league’s fantasy platform give you
recommendations for who to play, and who to sit on your team’s bench. The reasons for this
vary, but usually come down to how a player matches up against a team he is about to play.
Naturally, if your running back is slated to play against the number one defense, perhaps it is
best to look elsewhere for a more hopeful performance.

There are numerous resources and networks that will assist you throughout the season on the
best players to play as the season progresses. At the end of the day, it is your call! Do what you
think will yield the best result, and let it ride!

SIGNING FREE AGENTS

After the draft, there will be hundreds of NFL players dumped into “free agency” free for any
team to sign to their roster. This is likely where you will go if one of your players suffers an injury
and is unable to play. Much like ranking certain matchups, there are lots of resources across the
internet that will give you pointers on key free agents that might be worth adding to your roster.
As injuries pile up, new players turn from backups to starters, making them worthy of a spot on
your roster. Keep in mind, that you cannot have an infinite number of players on your roster.
Roster limits will apply, and you might need to cut a player from your team to sign another. The
balancing act between who to cut and who to sign is the mark of a skilled fantasy player.

THE WAIVER WIRE

Not all leagues have this, but most of them will. The waiver wire works similarly to how it would
at the NFL-level. During certain times of the week (usually from Sunday through Tuesday)
players in free agency are “locked” from anyone signing them. From there, players may choose
to submit a “waiver” for any free agent they wish to sign. If your waiver has higher priority than
anyone else’s- congrats! You signed that player! Once you have used your waiver, your waiver
priority is reset to the lowest possible, meaning the next waiver you submit might not guarantee
that you sign the player you are after.

TRADES

Wheeling and dealing, as they say, is another art of a successful fantasy player. You will have
the ability to trade around with other players to obtain key additions to your roster. Trades
should be as fair as possible to both sides, usually to shore up weaknesses on both teams. If
you submit a trade to a player that is too one-sided, it is just asking to get called out in front of
the rest of the league.

HONOR

It is always important to remember that this is all good and fun. As with any game, sometimes
emotions can run a little hot, especially if money or bragging rights are on the line. No one likes
the one random player who constantly complains or talks endlessly in the league’s chat. And
absolutely no one likes the person who submits unfair trades all season, hoping to take
advantage of someone. Be honorable with your fellow players and enjoy being a part of the
league!

WHAT YOU WILL GET FROM PLAYING

Now that we have gotten this far, you might be thinking that this sounds kind of intimidating or
time consuming. And you would be right! Fantasy football can be intimidating, and it can be time
consuming. So, what’s in it for you? Why bother playing?

IT’S FUN

Ultimately, fantasy football is a game, and like all games, the idea is to have fun. Emotions run
high, and tight victories make you feel as though you just won the Super Bowl. You will find
yourself coming back week after week, hoping your team bests your next opponent. Have some
fun, cut loose, maybe talk a little smack! Make a name for yourself in the league and enjoy it
while it lasts. The NFL always goes by faster than we all expect.

OH, THE KNOWLEDGE YOU WILL GAIN

Even the most obsessive NFL fans find themselves learning something new each year from
fantasy football. You will find yourself knowing the rosters of players and statistical
performances that you have never even cared about before.

YOU WILL GIVE A DAMN

Normally, a snooze fest of a Monday Night game would not mean anything to you. But imagine
you are down by 20 points and have two players playing that night, while your opponent has
none. Can you pull it off? Will your two players take care of business? What if one of them gets
injured? Suddenly working late on Mondays is replaced by holding your breath for all four
quarters of what used to be a meaningless game.

CONNECTIONS, SOCIALIZING, AND FRIENDSHIPS

This one is perhaps the most important and what brings players back year after year: you will
get to know so many more people so much better than you would ever think you would. Fantasy
football brings families together for an annual family reunion. It brings internet strangers from all
over the globe together. It creates friendships in corporate offices. Boring watercooler talk is
suddenly replaced by coworkers ribbing one another about their team’s performances from the
weekend.

SEASON’S END

There is absolutely no telling how you will do at the conclusion of your first draft. As mentioned
before, anything can happen in fantasy football. Even the lowest-graded drafts can turn out to
be slam dunks once a season runs its course. Try to enjoy your first seasons and learn all that
you can, especially from some of the veteran players.

YOU WILL BE BACK

Whether you ran the table as a rookie and took home the championship while everyone else in
your league showered you with “Beginners luck!” or you missed the playoffs by one game and
sauntered into a 9th place finish – you’ll be back. To defend your crown or avenge your defeat
from last season – you will be back hungrier than ever to prove yourself. Fantasy football is fun.
It is addicting. And it brings millions of players together year after year.

Welcome rookie, and best of luck in the upcoming season!

One of the most important parts of your fantasy draft is the actual preparation for the day. You
will use magazines, sites (like FrankMillsFootball.com) and watch shows previewing the season.
What are some other ways that you can prep??? Here are some that do not include BE ON
TIME OR EARLY.

1. It is not just knowing your information; it is knowing the profiles of others in the league.
Do not hesitate if you have been in this league to go back and look over rosters along
with draft results. You may find someone that you are really interested in has been on
the same guys team for 3 straight years. This will help you with knowing when to
pounce.

2. Print out an empty roster to fill in while you are making your picks. On this roster should
be, player, round, pro team, and bye. Separate by position so you have a true feel of
your depth and where you need help late. Just writing down players in a row may not
give you a feel for how your team is coming along. Organization is key.

3. Keep track of the picks for all teams. Do not be the guy who goes up and picks a guy
gone 4 rounds ago.

4. Bring a notebook and jot down names that are on your radar. Be prepared to make your
pick but also do not rush if you are down to 2 and it is important. Last minute check up
on a player is a real thing.

5. Pay attention to reactions to your picks. You may get a who, you may get an F Bomb
unleashed as someone had that player up next. Make a note of that owner if you are
looking to trade later in the year for an underachiever. They liked something about that
player and that could come in handy with a trade in your favor.

6. Do not be afraid to walk up to the draft board to get a feel for runs on positions. If you
see a group of RB going it might be time or if you feel comfortable in your rankings, buck
the trend.

7. Do not avoid picking a player because he is on a team you hate. Do you think if Jim
Harbaugh got an NFL job, he would not draft Ohio State players? Treat all teams as an
equal. You are looking to collect the best statistical players, not build a collection of
favorite players.

8. EVERYONE thinks they have won the draft when they leave. EVERYONE gets in the
car or signs off feeling they will be collecting a prize at the end of the year. For all but
one of you, you are WRONG.

9. Always wish everyone in your league good luck. It is sportsmanship.

ROOKIES PUSHING VETERANS

By Buddy Andrade @FrankMillsBuddy

The best part about the NFL Draft is watching players getting picked into systems and how they
will fit the scheme. The 2020 draft was “heavy” at WR, EDGE (for IDP and dynasty) and DB.
Here is an Offensive and Defensive player from each team that will push for time or their job
ultimately.

Arizona Cardinals

Offense- Josh Jones (OT) Houston, 3rd Rd- Jones should start at RT and contribute right away
to the blocking for Kyler Murray and Kenyan Drake. A good pocket provides more time for a
group of WR led by DeAndre Hopkins to get open.

Defense- Leki Fotu (NT) Utah, 4th RD- Jordan Phillips was added too but I see him capable of
being a sub-rusher or DE in a 3-4. Fotu adds bulk and athleticism inside which helps the tackle
numbers for IDP tackle machine Jordan Hicks

Atlanta Falcons

Offense-Matt Hennessy (IOL) Temple, 3rd RD- Last year they took care of the right side of the
OL, now an athletic LG to keep the pocket clean and pull on run plays. This helps the down the
field pass game to Julio Jones, Calvin Ridley and new TE Hayden Hurst.

Defense-Marlon Davidson (DL) Auburn, 2nd RD- Davidson may not have super value himself
but enhances Grady Jarrett and Deion Jones. His versatility to play along the DL allows
favorable matchups for himself and teammates.

Baltimore Ravens

Offense-Devin Duvernay (WR) Texas, 3rd RD- Duvernay has the speed and quickness from the
slot position to help free up big play guy Marquise Hollywood Brown. Duvernay should carve a
nice niche from inside on 3 WR sets and make plays himself.

Defense-Patrick Queen (ILB) LSU, 1st RD-The sideline to sideline tackle machine should step
right in and put up IDP stats. Playing behind Calais Campbell and Derek Wolfe should free him
up from OL getting to the 2nd level.

Buffalo Bills

Offense-Zack Moss (RB) Utah, 3rd RD- He is the perfect complement to Devin Singletary. He
will get those tough in between the tackle yards, Goal line opportunities and yard after contact
late in games to seal them. I would totally consider drafting both Moss and Singletary if you
cannot get an elite to have a system.

Defense-A. J Epenesa (DL) Iowa, 2nd RD- A steal this late goes to a team on the rise. He is
got the ability to play the EDGE then kick inside if you want to go with a real speed rush
package. Epenesa could be a 3 down player right out the gate and a good pick in deep IDP
leagues or dynasty.

Carolina Panthers

Offense-Rodney Smith (UDFA) Minnesota- I think Smith makes the roster and eventually
becomes the backup to Christian McCaffrey

Defense-Derrick Brown (DT) Auburn, 1st RD- The defense could not stop the run last year
along with bringing interior pressure. Brown steps right in as a 3 down player and could help
contribute to Shaq Thompson tackle numbers too.

Chicago Bears

Offense-Cole Kmet (TE) Notre Dame, 2nd RD- Yes, I know the Bears have a ton of TE on the
roster and signed Jimmy Graham in the offseason. The facts are Kmet can get down the seam
and provides the best pass catching threat for Matt Nagy. Graham is past his prime and none
of the other guys on the roster have proven to be starter caliber.

Defense-Jaylon Johnson (CB) Utah, 2nd RD-That right CB spot has been a weakness for a
while now and Johnson provides good size and skills to change that. One of the final pieces of a
solid defense has been found.

Cincinnati Bengals

Offense-Tee Higgins (WR) Clemson, 2nd RD- We know Joe Burrow is the franchise signal
caller so let’s escape the obvious. Tee Higgins comes in with great athletic ability and red zone
potential to contribute right away. A future #1.

Defense-(Tie) Logan Wilson (ILB) Wyoming and Akeem Davis-Gaither (OLB) App ST- These
two guys are going to change the quality at the 2nd level of the defense. Logan Wilson should
provide an inside, solid tackler for the early downs while Gaither on the weak side will rack up
tackles and cover in the sub-package. I love what the Bengals did here

Cleveland Browns

Offense-Donovan Peoples-Jones (WR) Michigan 6th RD-. This is my dynasty stash away
player. The Browns are going to run a lot of double TE sets but I feel he can get on the field in 3
WR sets and put Landry in the slot

Defense-Grant Delpit (S) LSU, 2nd RD- Safeties slid in this draft altogether, so I will not go on a
rant. Great find who can contribute all around to a secondary that now has himself, Greedy
Williams, and Denzel Ward. He is an IDP draft this year.

Dallas Cowboys

Offense-CeeDee Lamb (WR) Oklahoma, 1st RD- Playmaker with the ball in his hand and I am
really curious how they line up 3 wide. You do not just put a guy in the slot and go. There is a
specific skill set to the Slot WR that I think people are brushing over.

Defense-Bradlee Anae (EDGE) Utah, 5th RD- Getting a player like Anae in the 5th RD is an
absolute steal even if you are deep with EDGE players. Anae has great get off and bend to get
to the QB against a much bigger OT.

Denver Broncos

Offense-Jerry Jeudy (WR) Alabama, 1st RD- Great compliment to Sutton, Fant and 2nd rd. pick
K.J Hamler. A precision route runner who catches the ball away from his body and provides
YAC. I still think Sutton is #1 guy but Jeudy will make plays right away.

Defense-McTelvin Agim (DT) Arkansas, 3rd RD- It is not just what he can do as an inside pass
rusher in sub-package, it’s how he and Dre’Mont Jones could free up Miller and Chubb to do
their jobs.

Detroit Lions

Offense-D’Andre Swift (RB) Georgia, 2nd RD- Another situation where you could draft both
backs (Kerryon Johnson) and go with the production of the backfield. Swift can play 3 downs
too. I think these guys will be great together but Swift the more likely to stay healthy.

Defense-Jeff Okudah (CB) Ohio St, 1st RD- I do not draft CB in IDP leagues unless the player
sticks their nose in against run plays. Okudah has the ability to be shut down, allowing Justin
Coleman to go back into the slot.

Green Bay Packers

Offense-Jon Runyan (OL) Michigan, 6th RD- He played LT at Michigan but most likely is a guy
who kicks inside. Plays with a good nasty and provides versatility on a team pretty RB heavy.

Defense-Kamal Martin (ILB) We all saw the tragedy that was the Packers run defense game in
the NFC title game against the 49ers. Martin is a big interior thumper who brings it against the
run. Deep IDP or IDP Dynasty, this is a good find.

Houston Texans

Offense-Charlie Heck (OT) UNC 4th RD- I like the idea of Sharping and Howard at OG with
Heck at RT opposite Laremy Tunsil. They should open some holes and finally allow DeShaun
Watson to feel safe in the pocket.

Defense-Ross Blacklock (DT) TCU 2nd RD- They needed to replace Reader while also allowing
Charles Omenihu to become a starter. This pick allows both those things and the defense to be
much improved to help a suspect corner situation.

Indianapolis Colts

Offense-(Tie) Michael Pittman Jr (WR) USC and Jonathan Taylor (RB) Wisconsin, 2nd
rounders- I could not pick one. I love the physicality both players bring to a team taking on
Quenton Nelson mindset. Pittman will run the tough routes inside and fight for balls in the end
zone. Taylor brings a physical between the tackles runner and ability to catch the football. Indy
is taking on a mindset, both these players help that cause.

Defense- Jordan Glasgow (LB/S) Michigan 6th RD- A total sub-package guy in a league that
plays it a ton. He will help in covering RB and TE right away.

Jacksonville Jaguars

Offense-Ben Bartch (OL) St. John’s, MN, 4th RD- The Jags think so high of the small school
prospect, they will plug him in at OG to get him on the field. This should help Gardner Minshew
be a gunslinger from the pocket.

Defense-C. J Henderson (CB) Florida, 1st RD- Losing both Ramsey and Bouye is tough but this
softens the blow. A physical, elite talent to come in day one to try and shut down a side of the
field. He helps make your pass rushers better, the strength of the Jags team.

Kansas City Chiefs

Offense-Clyde Edwards-Helaire (RB) LSU 1st RD- A do-it-all RB added to one of the greatest
offenses we have ever seen. Hardly seems fair but the Chiefs have an all-purpose guy who
runs tough for his size. He is a guy you are grabbing early in your drafts.

Defense-Willie Gay Jr (LB) Miss St 2nd RD- Another steal for the world champs. Off-the-field
issues had him slide but his athletic ability and skills are off the charts. He is groomed to have a
big 2nd half of this season and career after that with his head on straight.

L.A Chargers

Offense-Joshua Kelly (RB) UCLA 4th RD- I truly believe Ekeler needs to have his touches
managed for effectiveness, enter is Joshua Kelly to compete with Justin Jackson. Kelly did it all
for the Bruins and has good balance to his game. He is a late round handcuff guy or pick in a
dynasty league.

Defense-Kenneth Murray (LB) Oklahoma 1st RD- Thomas Davis had a huge year for the
Chargers in a down 2019, I see Murray stepping in and filling some of that void. Gone are the
days of trying to defend the run with big safeties at the 2nd level. He also benefits from some
big guys in front of him, sideline to sideline ability.

L.A Rams

Offense-Cam Akers (RB) FSU 2nd RD- The story of a guy who will be a better pro than college
player. He gives me a true all-around Priest Holmes feel added to Mcvay’s collection of talent.
Might be a sleeper to some, this guy shines right away.

Defense-Terrell Lewis (OLB) Alabama 3rd RD- They lost both Matthews and Fowler outside,
Lewis steps right up to the plate. He and Aaron Donald should feed well off each other as an
inside-outside tandem.

Las Vegas Raiders

Offense-Lynn Bowden JR (RB/WR) Kentucky 3rd RD- Think Tarik Cohen. A guy who you can
line up at RB and WR along with manufacturing ways to get the ball in his hands. He can be on
the field at the same time as bell cow RB Josh Jacobs.

Defense-Tanner Muse (LB/S) Clemson 3rd RD- Another of the hybrid guys to have on your
roster in a deep IDP league. A guy who can rack up tackles and pass defenses in your IDP
league.

Miami Dolphins

Offense-Austin Jackson (OT) USC 1st RD- The Dolphins completely tore it down and one of
their needs of year 2 under Flores is an OT. I am curious how this plays out with the season
probably starting with Fitzpatrick then going to Tua. Do they play him at LT or RT.? Either way
he should be at full strength this year and be a major upgrade for the offense.

Defense-Curtis Weaver (EDGE) Boise ST 5th RD- Like Bradlee Anae, a complete steal on day
3. Weaver has good size to man the edge along with bringing pressure in the sub-package D.
Deep sleeper this year to keep an eye on in Dynasty IDP leagues.

Minnesota Vikings

Offense-Justin Jefferson (WR) LSU 1st RD- Finding a WR who can line up all over the formation
is a luxury. Jefferson should pair nicely with Thielen and the TE pair if they run the same 12
personnel.

Defense-James Lynch (DT) Baylor 4th RD- The Vikings had a ton of good draft picks but Lynch
as a sub-package rusher in a deep IDP league intrigues me.

New England Patriots

Offense-Devin Asiasi (TE) UCLA 3rd RD- The need at TE was huge, so the Pats double dipper.
Asiasi is my second Bruin to make the list. He is an all-around TE but can run all the route on
the tree. A definite sleeper in dynasty leagues.

Defense-Josh Uche (LB) Michigan 2nd RD- A guy who patented his game watching the Pats on
tape with his coaches, a great fit. Uche is going to fill the Van Noy role so he is a fantasy
Dynasty IDP grab.

New Orleans Saints

Offense-Adam Trautman (TE) Dayton 3rd RD- A position to be filled with some youth after an
underwhelming season from Jared Cook. Trautman can run all the route and wants to block
until an opponent quits. Keep an eye in your Dynasty or deep in regular leagues.

Defense-Zack Baun (OLB) Wisconsin 3rd RD- An EDGE presence for the Saints from the
beginning. In a league with high sack value, he is good to have on a roster.

NY Giants

Offense-Andrew Thomas (OT) Georgia 1st RD- Another lineman who is going to make the
production of the whole Offense better. An absolute beast in the run game for Barkley to follow.

Defense-Xavier McKinney (S) Alabama 2nd RD- The Landon Collins replacement they needed
to find. Can move around on the defense and is worth having on a roster in a heavy tackle
league.

NY Jets

Offense-Denzel Mims (WR) Baylor 2nd RD- A huge need was playmaking at the WR position
for Darnold which Mims will fill. Good all-around athlete who should have a lot less drops with a
healed hand. Definite Dynasty pick and deep depth guy.

Defense-Jabari Zuniga (EDGE) Florida 3rd RD- A huge need on the defensive side is EDGE
presence. Zuniga should help provide a good inside-outside pass rush with Williams.

Philadelphia Eagles

Offense-Jalen Reagor (WR) TCU 1st RD- The Eagles needed a young playmaker and surprised
people with Reagor at 21 overall. He brings the ability to line up all around and produce big
plays. A definite Dynasty grab and pick late in bigger leagues.

Defense-Davion Taylor (LB) Colorado 3rd RD- Another of those players you grab in IDP
because he will play a ton in sub-package.

Pittsburgh Steelers

Offense-Anthony McFarland (RB) Maryland 4th RD- My bold prediction, by game 6 he is the
starter. Keep an eye on this guy, he is the all-around answer to the Steelers backfield. Sleeper
and Dynasty must.

Defense-Alex Highsmith (OLB) Charlotte 3rd RD- The Steelers will not be able to keep both
Dupree and Watt in the future. They found a player in Highsmith. He is a guy with a non-stop
motor and great pass rush ability. Deep IDP Dynasty player.

Seattle Seahawks

Offense-Colby Parkinson (TE) Stanford 4th RD- His all-around game is very good, and I think
he rises in a crowded TE room. His size and ability to use it is one skill that cannot be taught.
Defense-Alton Robinson (DE) Syracuse 5th RD- Pete Carroll loves to load up on pass rushers
and there are no sacred cows at any position. Look for Robinson to contribute early with his
pass rush ability.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Offense-Ke’Shawn Vaughn (RB) Vanderbilt 3rd RD- The Bucs need a running game in the
worst way. Vaughn has the ability to make all the runs and catch the ball out of the backfield.
Here is a guy to draft in all types of leagues.

Defense-Antoine Winfield (DB) Minnesota 2nd RD- Any IDP league with high points for
interceptions needs this ballhawk on their roster. He also has the ability to slide up and cover in
the slot.

Tennessee Titans

Offense-Darrynton Evans (RB) App St 3rd RD- The ideal complement to Derrick Henry that
Dion Lewis never panned out to be. This is a guy who can fill in on all three downs and handle
the workload

Defense-Larrell Murchison (DT) NC State 5th RD- Another of the sub-package defenders who
can contribute right away because of his pass rush ability. Vrabel is another coach who plays
the guys who deserve it, Murchison will earn a role.

Washington

Offense-Antonio Gibson (RB/WR) Memphis 3rd RD- Similar to Lynn Bowden, a position less
guy who you manufacture touches for in games. He can line up in the slot, as an RB, can be
used on fly sweeps and misdirection’s.

Defense-Chase Young (DE) Ohio St 1st RD- A guy you grab in every type of IDP leagues. He
may be the best of the EDGE players to come out of Ohio St recently, which really says a lot.

✓ Key Losses - RB David Johnson (Trade), DE Rodney Gunter (FA)
✓ Offense - HC Kliff Kingsbury will continue to implement his version of the Air Raid offense.

The main ingredient within is the QB, in this case Kyler Murray. He will be asked in his
sophomore season to be a de facto play caller on the field. With regards to reading
opposing defenses. Twenty-one-year coaching veteran Tom Clements will serve as OC and
Passing coordinator in the building of what has the potential to be a top tier offense.

hoping to confuse opposing teams with a ball hawking squad that enables itself to drop into
zone coverages and making them hard to run against. One can argue his HC intangibles,
but this is his specialty. Special teams coach Jeff Rodgers relies on speed and Quickness in
the battle for field position. And with depth at the WR position, a feature returner could
evolve.
