Hi Guys & Dolls...

Welcome to our last issue of the year and it certainly has been a strange one.
It’s interesting to note how there have been universal shifts which a lot of us
have felt. Our seasonal cover and theme throughout this magazine highlights
the depths of our souls in the deep red also showing the glimmers of hope in
the shining lights and stars. This month Mary and Tamara were thrilled to

bump into artist Onuka after her tour. We are also delighted to be newly
affiliated with South East Studios and One Click Mastering. Our sponsorship
with Urban Pulse’s Walshy Fire event is reaching it’s climax on the day of this
release, I would like to introduce Summer as our new Brand Ambassador in
Mauritius who is representing us for this event too. We have been interviewed
by Peecho this month as well. As the festive occasions approach, we wish that
you share it with loved ones, enjoying all the smiles and good times to be had.

In this issue, Sarah’s Thoughts turn to the year’s highlights in music including
Fifth Harmony, Taylor Swift and the One Direction boys. Dancing to the beat
of his heart, my soul is captivated. I share a some lyrics inspired by love. Steve
reviews the year and also tells of his journey through difficult times, to then be
enlightened by Coldplay’s ‘Every Teardrop Is A Waterfall”. I could feel the beat
as part of my body, oozing all the positive vibes from every single part of my
skin. On screen we take a look at some music in advertising as well as the ‘Y’

campaign which aims to inspire creative minds to follow their dreams. We
nominate our songs of the year ready to take to the online polls where you’ll
decide the winner, keep an eye on our socials in early December and vote for
your favourite. We've got your festival guide, radio listings and music from

Sarah Darling, Borderless, Ayeja, Gai Barone and Daya.

We made it through 2017! Thinking back, it went too fast, but we got some
pretty great songs along the way. Here is a list of music I believe makes this
year legendary.

One Direction Members
I find it quite amazing we got new music from every single member of One
Direction, including Zayn Malik! And they are ALL successful! Name another
boy band that can do that… I’ll wait. Harry Styles “Sign of the Times”, Niall
Horan “Slow Hands”, Liam Payne “Strip that Down”, Louis Tomlinson feat.
Bebe Rexha, Digital Farm Animals “Back to You” & Zayn feat. Sia “Dusk till

Camila Cabello
I wrote about her in an earlier issue of Audiation, and man I cannot stop
obsessing over her! She is TOPPING the charts (something Fifth Harmony
hasn’t done with singles), and she still hasn’t released a debut album yet. I
cannot imagine the amount of pressure she is probably feeling considering
the amount of success she’s had so far, but I know it is going to be AMAZING.
Can’t wait for 2018!

Fifth Harmony
Their new sound and look! With Camila, they seemed like a band whose
demographic were teeny-boppers who wear Ugg boots and leggings.
Without Camila, they are sexy, daring, rebellious and relevant. I love this
version Fifth Harmony, point blank and the period.

Taylor Swift
Honestly, her release of “Look What You Made Me Do” made me think her
new album Reputation was going to be edgy, punk and electric, which is
semi-typical for her to change genres in a new album. However, in my
opinion it hasn’t lived up to that REPUTATION for me. Although very well
written and produced, with songs like “New Year’s Day ” and “Call It What
You Want,” it sounds like she is just confused. But somehow, it works.

Cardi B
I don’t want to say she is the new Nicki Minaj, but she definitely took her
spotlight. “Bodak Yellow ” is crazy popular, and she’s featured in songs like
“No Limit” and “MotorSport.”

Sam Hunt
If you are a country music fan, you probably hear “Body Like a Backroad”
in your sleep. It was played EVERY WHERE. Even on pop radio here in Chicago!
Everyone loves a catchy tune.

Kendrick Lamar
Be humble. Sit down. Kendrick is one of those rappers that write inspirational
messages in their songs, and promote good feelings. and My friend Brandon
said “Man I wish my left stroke went viral,” So thanks Kendrick for the new
goals for Brandon, thank you. If you haven’t yet, listen to his song “ Love,”
I have it on as we speak.

Ed Sheeran
This man just knows music. And the fact he doesn’t think he’s talented?
Stop it Sheeran, you are. There’s only one more basic mathematical symbol
to title his next album, so let’s hope it won’t be the last. And let’s hope there
will be another one!

Miley Cyrus
She is back to her southern-roots personality. I respect her for admitting
she was going through a wild phase, and everyone changes, as mentioned
in her song “Younger Now.”

Imagine Dragons
They are important, they inspire, and they want everyone to love each other.
I dare you to listen to their new album "Evolve" without dancing. You won’t.

Demi Lovato
Not only did we get a new album, "Tell Me You Love Me ", but we also got a
new documentary showcasing the truth in her past. It was real, raw,
uncensored, and inspiring, After I watched it, I felt refreshed with life. It was
such a strange feeling. Love this woman.

I don’t know much about them, but they HAD to be included in this article.
If you saw their performance at the American Music Awards, you saw how
much the girls in the audience were imploding. Heck, Ansel Elgort was even
fangirling over them.

1. Post Malone feat. 21 Savage “Rockstar”

2. Dua Lipa “New Rules”
3. Charlie Puth “Attention”
4. CNCO feat. Little Mix “Reggaeton Lento

5. Imagine Dragons “Thunder”
6. Camila Cabello feat Young Thug “Havana”

7. Maroon 5 “Lips on You”
8. Kane Brown “What Ifs”
9. G Eazy feat. ASAP Rocky and Cardi B “No

10. Miley Cyrus “Younger Now”

Cheers 2017. Thank you for being a year of music with positive
and uniting messages.

I could not miss that one! The last issue for 2017. Time flies
so rapidly that opportunities to sit down and reflect over the

past events are scarce. 2017 has been a tiring and at some
points I felt completely drained. My spiritual journey and

learning helped me through these tough times. According to a
friend of mine there has been lot of energy shifts which have
impacted on many, but hopefully 2018 will yield better days.

Besides, through meditation I regained peace and the will to
move ahead, it did not suffice. The need to voice out (almost
yelling) my feelings eased the process. I remember one moment
I could not bear this pressure no more. I could not describe how
I was feeling, forcibly getting confused and distraught. There
is that Coldplay's song ‘Every Teardrop Is A Waterfall’ that

boosted my inner vibes, chased away the negativity and
settled positivity to its maximum. I could feel the beat as
part of my body, oozing all the positive vibes from every single
part of my skin. I was bathing in light and no more battling with
those dark thoughts. They just vanished! I was like dancing in
the car with volume pumped up to the maximum. It was pure

Finally, the festive seasons are near and for sure I know that
the Christmas mood with brighten our days. The carols, the
decoration and festive smiles with warm-hearted hugs will
chase away those dark memories. For those still struggling,
hold on and fight for your life as better days are ahead. Never
back down on trials; keep faith. I wish you all the best for the

coming year, love to all!

Dua Lipa - Voodoo

“I wake up with it on my mind every morning. Plus it’s quite an
unknown track for her and I don’t follow sheep.” Rokuro

Ed Sheeran - Shape Of You

“It is catchy, makes people moving like a bit of dancing without
actually willing to do so.” Mary

"It is the song that I, and many others, instantly took a liking
too. It is fun, memorable and timeless. It unites the world. On

my travels, this was the soundtrack regardless of language
barriers and new meetings, we all were brought together with

this one song. " Ruby

Pentatonix ft Jennifer Hudson - How Great Thou

"It’s my favourite hymnal. I feel like through the year, rough and
good times, at some point, we all needed to look up and

remember that someone up there loves you and is there for you
always." David

Camila Cabello - Havana

“It is DIFFERENT. It is fun, Latin and connected to her culture.
Music industry people told her that the song wasn't going to
succeed on radio and the charts, and that people were not going
to understand and look how much she is proving them wrong.
She was the underdog taking a big risk leaving Fifth Harmony
and it PAID OFF! Havana is top of the charts! I think it is a great
beginning for Cabello's solo career, and makes everyone excited

to hear more.” Sarah

4th Project - Taking Me Over

“It is a gem.” Andy

Luis Fonsi ft Daddy Yankee - Despacito

“It is the top song I have heard in so many places that it seemed
that people really enjoyed it, as original or remix by Justin

Bieber. It sounds as a virus affecting as much people as it can at
the disco, in a public transport, as a ringtone, in a cafe, at the
beach, in a taxi... Personally, I'm not a fan of this song but it

happens that I hear it from everywhere. Being a big boss I would
definitely add it to the chart because of it’s popularity.” Tamara

“It brings the right ambience to every mood” Ashna

Jain - Makeba

“She is French singing in English about Mama Africa and that
somehow reminding us that music has no boundaries. Plus the
style is nicely mixed. This world needs this kind of initiative to
discover, learn, acquire and blend music style where none other

factors are able to bring this world together.” Steve

Camelphat - Cola

“This track captivated the whole of the underground. S track
that caressed the underground and appealed to people of a
more comercial nature. I saw this track dropped at events to
see the whole party sing in unison. Myself and my daughter
alike would be caught singing the words to this. By far the tune

of 2017.” Cessle

Post Malone - Fall Apart

“It describes what it's like to love someone and they continue to
hurt you and cause you to fall apart.” Jessie

James Hype ft Kelli-Leigh - More Than Friends

“It brings a happy feel to my day each time. The track was my
summer closing song. It popped up everywhere: festivals, the

gym and on the Spotify playlist.” Malachi

‘Larger Than Life’ by Nikhil Prakash is a strong and bold track.
The atmospheric break also presents a searching vocal dropping
into a dance number.

An artist who never disappoints and continues to push the envelope is
Nikhil Prakash. Back on InfraProgressive with his latest and greatest track
'Larger Than Life'.

Nikhil once again serves up another lush progressive trance cut in his
much loved signature sound. 'Larger Than Life' boasts a killer bass line,
tantilisingly good groove and a lush piano filled breakdown too.

Always striving to deliver the very best and push his skills,
Nikhil's talents once again shine through in his latest offering
and it's a belter!

‘Winter Wonderland’ is the new seasonal album from Sarah Darling.
This is a beautiful compilation with well-known festive songs and is
the perfect pairing for the upcoming celebrations. Sarah Darling’s
voice is stunning. The compositions hold a classic warmth and
delight. Each exceptional rendition imparts a little bit of magic to
our hearts.

The Nashville based singer-songwriter, Sarah Darling, already
heralded as one of country music’s breakout performers and an elite
vocalist in the US, has her sights set on the UK. After studio three
albums Sarah will release her Christmas album ‘Winter Wonderland’
November 17 2017. Join Sarah to ring in the holidays with some of
her Christmas favourites as her classic vocals transport the listener
to a magical place of holiday contentment and cheer.

“I am so excited to return to my fans in the UK, my second home, to
share a mix of old favourites, some quintessential Christmas songs
from my ‘Winter Wonderland’ album, as well as a couple of not-yet-
released tracks.” Sarah Darling

Sarah Darling is no stranger to UK audiences having broadly toured
the UK with her signature “Night in Nashville” shows, also opening
for the chart-topping Ward Thomas and performing at the C2C:
Country to Country festival both in 2016 and again earlier this year.

Her performance at St Pancras Old Church on Friday 8 December
2017 will be her biggest London headline performance to date.
Looking forward to the concert Sarah says:

‘Ricochet’ by Tantrum Desire ft Laura
Bayston is intense. The intro is especially
intriguing with a slow progression, then
it drops into the lively main DnB section.

Love the variations of the vocals.
Ricochet features the vocals of Laura
Bayston, who last linked with Tantrum
Desire on the big-room thunderclap of
their track Underground. Once again, she
delivers a soaring, emotive performance
that draws us into the music over trip-
hoppy atmospheric vibes and a hands-in-
the-air chord sequence. And then, under-
pinning it all, is a subtle arpeggio, which
guides us through the harmonic changes
and pulls us upwards until we’re dropped

into a sea of bass.

A lively trancer!

Tribal flavour.

‘One’ by BORDERLESS is the one album you need with a range of different and
thought-provoking moods. Each delicately crafted element tells a story. The album

features the enchantment of ’Cloud Surfing’, vibrance of ‘Winter’, intensity of
‘Where Nobody Knows Us’, intrigue of ‘Two Worlds’ and enlightenment of
‘Uncertain Colours’. There is an amazing juxtaposition in a the emotions
throughout, really interesting to listen to.

If we were to get the most stubborn of haters to join the side of dance music, there’s
only one album that springs to mind. The brainchild of rising star BORDERLESS,
‘One’ is brimming with fifteen songs that defy genres for breakfast and radiates

vibes so insanely addictive none can say no. An enchanting mixture of progressive,
ambient and all-around sonic beauty, ‘One’ is the next step in dance music

‘Rocket Punch’ by Jordan Suckley holds is a high octane
energy shot!

Dark chords & deep bass!

‘We Can Have It All’ by Ayeja ft Karina Nistal is a
wonderfully vibrant and soulful song. The voice is
lovely and there is the element of added surprise in
the latino break section. Austin Leeds presents a
deeper, chilled remix whilst Jaytor takes it down a

level with a bass edit.
Ayeja represent something truly refreshing in music. With a
combination of disco house and tech house accompanied by

smooth yet infectious vocals, these musicians have
productions that make dance floors swoon.

a striking and

together with a
beautiful voice.

Festive fun!

‘Lumina’ by Trilucid is a really nice piece to lose yourself to
with deep moments and pulsing beats.

For the final release of 2017 label, A&R Phil Martyn is delighted
to welcome back Trilucid (aka Andy MacDougall and Hilton
Caswell), with their track Lumina, a brilliant example of
progressive house, and a testament to why Trilucid is in such
high demand currently.

Trilucid’s unique take on progressive house has seen them gain
broad DJ support and chart success across a stream of huge
progressive labels, and continue their residency at The Gallery
at Ministry of Sound in London. We think this is a fitting way to
end the year and fits perfectly with the Perfecto Black sound.

‘Rattlesnake’ by Harry Square vs. Sols & Sean Truby is a killer
dance track. The main tune remains a constant as the energy
levels grow and excite.

Rounding out a stellar year, both Harry Square and Solis & Sean
Truby join forces for this truly epic outing on Interstate
Recordings. The culmination of their efforts is as you'd expect,
massive in every way, as they deliver 'Rattlesnake'.

Fusing that much loved tech sound from Harry Square, with
those signature, epic melodies we've come to expect from Solis
& Sean Truby, 'Rattlesnake' will deliver the fire to any club

On the flip, rising stars Burak & Emre inject their much loved big
room sound into the track and serve up a killer alternative to
complete the package.

‘Shiny’ by Gai Barone is a really cool creation. The
beats have retro connotations with a power 80s /
funky sound. The drop introduces melodic
movements and a distorted vocal.

You’d have to have been living under a rock for the last 2
years to be unaware of the shockwaves which Gai Barone
has sent through the ranks of the progressive scene, his
unique sound has the support of everybody from Sasha to
Solarstone, from Hernan Cattaneo to Aly & Fila. ‘Shiny’ is
gleaned from the track-list of Pure Trance Vol. 6 and it is the
perfect example of why Gai is the man on everybody’s lips
when it comes to progressive trance, progressive house, call
it what you will. The track delivers it’s message via jagged
synth lines, emotive chord changes and a spattering of
crystalline arpeggiators. The break is perfect late night club
material, cavernous reverbs and twisted all-enveloping
filters erupt into a glorious payoff. This is the Italian
progressive master at his finest.
