MEET YOUR AMARILLO CLUB Wine Wednesday
BOARD OF DIRECTORS
Mrs. Sharla Valdez, Secretary Get ready to swish, sniff,
sip & repeat, please join
I have been a member of the Amarillo us for “Flight Night” on
Club since 1994. Early on in our Wednesdays in Club 30!
Membership, my husband and I Bring your friends to taste 4
realized the benefits, especially for different wines specifically
our business. It is so nice to be able paired with a specialty Hors
to bring colleagues and clients to dine D’oeuvre. Each week will
and discuss business issues in a secure be a different varietal, so
environment. The staff is always great please check the Calendar
about giving us privacy when we need or call the Club to see
it. The Club is also a wonderful place to bring your children what’s on the menu!
and family. It has been nice to be able to have our children
experience a fine dining atmosphere and feel they are welcome
regardless of their age.

In 2006, I had the privilege of being the first woman to serve
on the Amarillo Club's Board of Directors. I was very honored
to bring a woman's perspective to Club-wide issues. Last year,
I was asked again to serve on the Board, and I knew it was an
opportunity I had to take. I am proud of the changes the Club
has made over the last several years, and I am excited for our
future.

I encourage each of you to continue utilizing the Club, whether
it be for business or personal gatherings. We want you to let us
know about your experiences, so we can ensure we keep moving
in a positive direction.
