Fiji consists of more than three hundred islands and is known for its
spectacular landscapes, beaches and coral reefs. It has two main islands,
Viti Levu and Vanua Levu, and these are home to the majority of the
population of almost 900,000 residents.

Fiji is an island nation in Melanesia, South Pacific Ocean. With a wealth of
shops, services and tours, some cities make a great base for exploring the real
Fiji and its mix of cultures. The country has a well-documented economy with
an abundance of natural resources like mineral, fish, and forests. Here in this

List of Famous cities of Fiji

1.Suva

The city is the administrative and political capital of Fiji.. Located on the
largest island, Viti Levu, Suva holds almost half the population of Fiji. Suva is a
harbour city with a melting pot of cultures. . The city, along with the
neighboring towns of Lami, Nasinu, and Nausori hosts over one-third of the
country’s population.
2. Labasa
Labasa is located in the north of Fiji’s second-largest island, Vanua Levu.
Labasa is surrounded by sugar cane farms, and thus sugar cane processing is
a significant industry in the town.

The town is situated on the delta formed by the three rivers of Labasa, Qawa,
and Wailevu. The hub for northern Vanua Levu feels like stepping into India
with curry houses and stores selling Indian attire and trinkets.

3. Lautoka

Lautoka is Fiji’s second biggest city and is located to the west of the Viti Levi
Island and is the country’s second port of entry after Suva. The city has a large
Indo-Fijian presence so the streets have a lively Indian flare. The shops and
large market give visitors a great city-shopping alternative to Nadi. Other than
the sugar industry, the city also houses timber milling, blending, steelworks,
paints, fishing, hatchery, and other industries.
4. Nadi

Nadi is Fiji’s third largest settlement and is located on Viti Levu island’s
western side. Nadi’s population is multi-ethnic in origin. This city is spread
across several different urban areas along the Queens Road, where there’s a
mix of shops, temples, markets, eateries and nightlife to experience. Most
international visitors who come to Fiji see the third-largest city, Nadi
