ABOUT
CHOOSE WATER

Choose Water is a 501(c)3 non-profit company founded in 2012 that

IT’S PERSONAL

We know you don’t want to write
a check to a seemingly unsolvable
problem for people you don’t know.
That’s why we make your experience
personal. When you partner with
Choose Water to adopt a village, you
get to meet the people from that
village through pictures, videos, and
stories from that specific village. You
will make a difference to hundreds of
people who you get to “meet” before
investing anything. We don’t ask you
to support an organization. We ask
you to help a village. It’s personal.

The gift of clean water changes so much for so many people. There are countless “trickle down” effects of clean
water. We help the village tell their story of what life is like without clean water. Then we re-visit the village after
we dig the well and capture the story of how life changes for the people in the village with access to safe, clean
water. See the “What to Expect” page to see exactly what a village partnership looks like.

WATER IS LIFE!

CLEAN WATER CHANGES EVERYTHING

Safe, clean water, along with good
sanitation practices and good hygiene
reduce deaths and illnesses caused by
dirty water.

Clean water in the village reduces time
spent collecting dirty water and gives a
constant source of water for irrigation,
washing, cooking, and many other uses.

Water gives hope to girls who are forced
to drop out of school to collect water
and because of the absence of toilets at
school.

Everything is different when there is
clean water in the village.

WHY
CHOOSE WATER

We know you want your
money to do the most good
possible. We are working
tirelessly to maximize the
impact of each dollar donated.
Here are some reasons to
choose Choose Water:

It’s personal. You know
who you are helping. All
the materials you receive
are from the village to
whom you help provide
clean water.

We are committed to
long-term solutions in the
village. We don’t just give
water and call it good. We
and our local partners work
with each village until they
are self-sustaining.

We are accessible. You can
contact us directly at any
time and get information
from your adopted village
or updates about any of
our projects.

We are constantly working
on new and innovative
solutions for problems
faced by villagers. We know
that the obstacles are
complex and the answers
need to be creative and
long-lasting.

We don’t do hand-outs. We
require monetary and time
contributions from each
village. Without village
ownerships, we would
accomplish nothing.
