Introduction

This book was born out of my struggle to understand
my path born of darkness. Torn between striving to
manifest the life I longed for, and surrendering to the

path at my feet, I was unable to determine if the
emptiness I faced was a necessary part of my
spiritual evolution or a mere byproduct of my
inability to transform my inner darkness into light.

All ways seemed to lead into nothingness, and this
book is my attempt to understand that this world of
the “no man’s land”, which I will call oblivion, is the
initiation into the transcendence of duality which
breaks through into the trinity to encompass all that
is, and therefore allows us to become whole within

our true divine self.

Our reality is dual in nature, a tool for us to learn.
When we are initiated into totality we must surrender
living in the dual world of thinking and merge into the

world of being.

My hope is that in reading this, you too will discover
and embrace the wisdom of your darkness and use it
to transcend into the light of your true eternal being.

1. Nothing

(Alchemical Calcination)

Trinity: Something, Nothing, Everything

Saturn Symbol

On the path of alchemy we begin with the process of
calcination, ruled by Saturn, the metal lead and the element
of fire. The colors are black and white. The movement of fire

is upward.
As we undergo calcination we are burned by this fire which

turns us into blackness, and after that blackness we are
turned into the whiteness of ash.

A common symbol for calcination is the skeleton, as it
signifies the eternal essence which lies behind the fleshy
façade. The façade is the ego, and this is what we begin to

lose through the fires of calcination.
As we lose the ego, we begin to enter into the domain of
nothing or nothingness, as all of our ego attachments begin

to erode by the emerging presence of the true Self.

Fire Symbol

Once initiated into this transformative fire, there is no
turning back. The fire will cast an illumination into our
consciousness by which we are destined to apprehend the
transitory nature of the world of the flesh and all of its

material components.

We have entered into the womb of emptiness, in which we
will begin to birth a non-material, immortal embryo within.
This will be the golden counterpart that arises out of the

black leaden soil of calcination.

Caput Mortuum

Another symbol connected to calcination is the caput
mortuum, or the dead head. We can think of this as an
indication that through this process, all things, and all
thoughts, will begin to lose their worldly hold on us as we
enter into the realm of spiritual oblivion. On this path,
nothing will remain, for what is eternal is not of this world,
but invisible, beyond the hand’s grasp, and the head’s

horizon.

Among the greatest things to be found, the Being of Nothingness is
by far the greatest.

-Leonardo Da Vinci

In modern physics we are told that the universe, and more
specifically, the atoms that construct matter are 99.999%

empty space.

Furthermore, the composition of the universe is a mere 4%
matter, while the remaining 96% is comprised of mysterious
dark energy and dark matter. The universe is for the most
part darkness and emptiness, and out of that, the potential

for somethingness emerges.

Therefore, spiritually, if we do not embrace our darkness
and emptiness we will never be whole. As we are the
microcosm of the universe.

Our culture represses this completely and suggests that
darkness ought to be denied, concealed, buried and
medicated. Within this paradigm, individuals are held

hostage and led away from reuniting with their true power.
We must learn to make love to our darkness in order to
bring it back into union with light.

Saturn as the Reaper

My personal experiences with the influences of Saturn’s
calcination have been the most profound, perhaps because

I am born under his sign as a Capricorn.
Without a doubt, my most obvious encounter with Saturn,
often associated with father time and the reaper, was when I
flipped over my car around the age of 27. Ironically, it was

on Valentine’s Day.
While driving home to Albuquerque from Santa Fe at about
85 mph, I lost control of my car when I swerved to avoid a

driver, in a silver car, who appeared to be merging over
from the other lane.

Prior to this, I found myself in a meditative state, not that
unusual for me while driving, and had the image of 2

children sitting in my backseat, who seemed to identify me
as their mother. I have no children.

Once my car started to whip back and forth before flipping, I
heard a voice that asked me, “Does it matter if you see your

soul mate again?” My response was “I don’t know.”

After that, my car flipped over into the median, the glass
windows blew out, and I was able to jump out of the window

once turned over, with only a small piece of glass in my
right shoulder blade to show for it.

After escaping through the window, I “saw” what I
interpreted as The Grim Reaper standing at the other side

of the highway.

Stranger still, this figure or something like him (dark,
slender, and silent) was “present” within the doorway to my
bedroom for a month or two prior to this event, and after… it

was gone.

For me, this experience was me being asked about the
contract of my life, and whether love was worth the journey.
I believe if I had answered “no” to the soul mate question, I
probably would not be here writing this. Not saying “no”, I

entered into a contract to continue living in order to
experience love again.

This experience also has a strong note of duality. As I was
reacting to someone else who seemed to be trying to

“merge” into me. My car was purple, while the other was
silver, one dark, one light. Perhaps I was too reactive in my

life to merging the 2 lanes or the dual worlds. Also, I just
noticed that the name of the “soul mate” that I was to meet
about 5 years after the wreck, is part of the name of the type
of car that I was swerving to avoid… which was a Honda.

Landing “on my head” has the significance of needing to
turn myself on my head, to hear the voice of my heart, or

putting the heart first.
The children were 1 red headed male, 1 dark headed female.
Also, a police man on site brought to me the 1 piece of glass
that remained intact from the wreck. It was a sticker of a sun

and moon, symbolizing the union of opposites.

Alchemically, this was my most obvious experience with
calcination, where my shell was sort of burned off so that I
could see my true self, and understand that the road that I
am here to travel requires the union of my opposites, which

is what alchemy requires.
I felt too, that this experience was a sort of initiation from

which I could not turn back. It seemed to open me even
more to the invisible world, and to explore the light that
works within the darkness. It gave me a unique perspective
regarding death, as I felt that I had sort of “crossed over”
already. It made me feel that “death” was available before

crossing over and that though it sounds grim, it is a path of
spiritual rebirth, revered in ancient times.

In retrospect, the car was the color of lead, perhaps
reflecting my resistance to doing the painful work that is

required to transform into gold.
Lead is toxic. To interact with it, life gives it to us through
our challenges, so that we may learn to transform them into
light. Therefore, we must endure the pitfalls of life, in order

to transform our leaden life into gold.

The Spiritual Life of Lead

When we think of our modern day uses for lead, one of the
most common is for protection against harmful radiation.
Lead is a radioactive shield. Similarly, when we enter upon

the spiritual path it may be necessary for us to build a
vessel, or a sort of protective energetic cloak, that will

protect us from the intense radiation that we will be
exposed to, in order to move through oblivion and become
a radiating light being again, able to channel and conduct

the universal energy of love and light consistently.

Another way in which lead has been utilized by humanity is
in framing stained glass. What a beautiful connection, as
this glass was used to channel heavenly solar light into
sacred places such as ancient cathedrals.

It’s as if the darkness of the lead is the counterbalance that
allows the light to radiate inward through the stained glass.

So too, when we encounter the leaden darkness of
calcination and are burned down to the bone and think all

is lost and that we are “already dead”… it is an illusion.

If we could see the big picture of the spiritual
transformation that we are undergoing we would see that
this terrible darkness, this death of lead, is the “frame” by

which to experience its opposite of inner light.

So too in a cathedral, the darker “stone” was chiseled
precisely in order to create a play on light which opens the
heart of those who partake in it. Without the relatively dark
and heavy stone, the light would have nothing, no stage, on

which to perform its play of light/life.

Being and non-being use each other, and in that harmony,
they transcend duality and usher in the experience of

transcendence. We all want to be “something”, which evokes
the opposite of experiencing how we are “nothing”, which
creates the ground by which to experience how we are
“everything”. It is the trinity.

Glass itself is created through the art of fire. It is a fusion of
the Earth's rocks: a mixture of sand (silicon oxide), soda
(sodium oxide) and lime (calcium oxide) melted at high
temperatures. Because of its clarity, or quality of
nothingness, it is able to be a vessel for everything.

An example of this is reflected in the use of glass in optics
in which a lens is created to view the macrocosmic universe
through the passage of light through the clarity of a small
optic telescope. Through this, we come to know the story of

the macrocosm.

We too, are like telescopes, and as we clean our lens of
ignorance and channel clear light, we will see the inner
reflection of the universe as it really is within ourselves.

2. Silence

(Alchemical Dissolution)

Trinity: Speaking, Silence, Listening

Tin Symbol

After we have undergone purification through the
fires of calcination, we will be purified through the
waters of dissolution. This process was connected
with the metal tin, and with the element of water. Water

moves downward.

Water Symbol

Here the white ashes will be washed. Psychologically, we
are becoming water, and merging with our intuitive, feeling

nature. For this process to become complete, we must

surrender the noise in the head for the silence within, which
invites our inner divinity to speak in whispers to us.

From our socialized materialistic standards, of course this
looks like deviance. When one retreats from the noise of the
world in order to commune with the silence, many will not

understand. Our western culture wears the brand of
stuffiness, and does not honor that which is not stuff.
Though if we stuff ourselves with this material stuffiness,
which is mostly atomic emptiness, then of course we cannot
experience anything other than emptiness. We stuff
ourselves into emptiness, until we are willing to learn that
the somethingness of our world is in the inner emptiness.

It is, like the ocean, so vast that we cannot quite truly think
it, but are moving into feeling and being it. We have re-
entered the womb in reverse, and instead of moving from

dark into light, we are moving from the light back into the
darkness, the womb of spirit.

So too, in walking the inner path, we are no longer guided
by the domesticated brain, but must navigate through the
vision and feeling that belongs to the inner fire and knowing

of the heart.

In transitioning from seeing through the lens of the outer
fire toward the inner fire, there is a relearning process

which must occur, and will require patience as we will make
many mistakes on our way back into alignment with the

knowing of the heart. It is still, quiet, penetrating, complete
and nondual. We enter its field when we surrender the noise

for the silence and relearn the ways of intuitive guidance.
Here, we must lose attachment to outcome, and focus solely

on following our given instructions, with disregard for
“being right.” Progress must surrender to doing our best,

and having the humility over and over to try again and
continue to be guided by the inner light, no matter how silly,

still, silent, and small it seems.

The Spiritual Life of Tin

In Sanskrit, the word vedha, refers to “piercing” and
alchemically to the transformation of lower into higher

metals.

As we ascend the ladder of alchemy we are transforming
our lower lead into the sovereign gold.

Lead had to be strong, to allow us to form a solid cloak
which would be able to store the various substances that we
will have to work with and through alchemically, therefore

shielding us from powers that might otherwise destroy us
before we are completely alchemically purified.

After the lead of calcination, we move into the tin of
dissolution. The character of tin is that it is malleable. For
this reason, tin is pierced or punched artistically. It, like the
element of water that rules over dissolution, is receptive.

We are becoming more “conductive” to the universal
energy.

We could say that the purpose of alchemical and of
spiritual transformation in general is the acquisition of the
power to “pierce” through the veils of ignorance that cover

over matter, and hide its true spiritual nature.

We know from Einstein’s E=mc², that housed within all
matter is an incredible amount of energy, but it has been

cleverly hidden from us by nature.

That energy is power. We too, are energy trapped in matter
and have been in the same way “hidden” from ourselves
under the veils of illusion inherent in matter.
In order for science and nature to expose, harness, and

release the power that is stored in atomic matter, as is done
in atomic weapons, one possible avenue is to pierce or
bombard the nuclei or center of unstable elements.

Public Domain, https://commons.wikimedia.org/w/index.php?curid=486924

The image above shows an induced fission reaction in
which Uranium 235 is being pierced or bombarded by a
neutron, to form Uranium 236, then splitting to release

nuclear energy.
This means that nature shows us that the hidden power of
radiant light is at the core of all matter, including us. But,
we must rediscover how to enter into the center within, the
heart, allowing ourselves to be pierced or penetrated by a
greater, neutral power in order that this inner radiation may

be discovered and channeled from the inner to the outer
world.

For this reason, the material heart, our nuclear center, must
be pierced like tin. Because within the material heart, is
hidden that energetic radiant power that connects all
things.

If we do not know this, we cannot harness its power.
Perhaps only by entering into the heart, through the
pierced wound or the opening into matter, can we enter into
the power of the light that resides there and learn to use it

to radiate into the darkness.

Just like tin lanterns, the malleable matter of tin has been
pierced to create a channel or opening by which the power

of light, which is housed within, may radiate its uniquely
punched pattern to shine light into the dark world of matter.

The heart speaks with the silent voice, and so too is light
silent. In order to undergo this process we must enter into

this silence in order to embody the trinity of speaking,
silence, and the inner voice.

3. Empty Headed

(Alchemical Separation)

Trinity: Thinking, Losing the Mind, Knowing

Iron Symbol

After dissolving our ashes into the waters of dissolution,
we require some recollection or pointedness to balance.
Now, we step into separation, ruled by iron and the element

of air. The direction is outward and upward.
Through the inner path, all outer points of reference must
be abandoned, for it is seeking to remind us that the “out

there” is a relative illusion and the real deal is within
ourselves. It will turn our gaze over and over from outer to
inner, and once we have reclaimed the inner we will learn

how to bring that light into the outer world again.
Alchemical separation means sifting the shit from the shine.
Through dissolution, we sort of washed out and now need

to regain the compass point. This process was connected
with iron, and with the element of air.

Like an iron sword cast for war, we have to distinguish
essential self from non-essential self and conduct the
beheading of the inessential. This will require loss, for the

birth or our eternal, essential essence to regain
sovereignty.

Looking at the image below, you can see the horizontal
sword that decapitates the capstone of the pyramid. It must

be removed to return later in its more evolved form.

Air Symbol

When I think of the experience of separation I think it is
about letting go. As humans, we attach to things. As

spiritual beings, we must reverse this human conditioning.
We must instead reside in being, whatever that brings in the

moment.

Separation requires that we “lose our heads” in that we
must learn to see that “loss” is an illusion, and that all

matter changes, as eternal energy endures.

It can be harsh and heart breaking when we lose the hopes,
dreams, people, places, and parts of ourselves that we have

learned to love and rely on.

All this seeming loss is just to make room for the eternal
light that is taking hold in us. It takes much away to move
our attention ever inward to harness the inner gold within

the heart. If our hearts are calloused, then they will be
cracked, so that the light may flow through, as it was

designed to. We need to be able to allow the light to flow
through us again.

The process of separation is the price or the sacrifice that
is made within ourselves and our lives so that matter may

be harnessed, sacrificed for its energy.

We know that physics tells us that matter is made of
invisible energy, which cannot be created or destroyed.
When we undergo the sword of separation, and go through
the psychic beheading we are doing two powerful things.

First, we are becoming aware of the non-essential nature of
material forms that we lose in favor of the essential and
eternal nature of the energy that resides within it.

Second, by losing the material form, we are able to offer it
as a sacrifice into the inner pyre of eternal energy. We

become the eagle that harnesses the carrion of the dead for
the energy that can be transformed from its passing.

On the path of spirit, we are being reborn into the world of
essence first, matter second. We are learning to change
matter through essence, rather than allowing the material
world to impact and misguide our essence.

To do this, the material world must be for a time obliterated
so that we can fall back into the center of ourselves, which

is the storehouse, the cauldron of our essence.

There is no substitute for this. It is our unadulterated being.

The Spiritual Life of Iron

When we were “pierced” in the process of dissolution we
were working between dissolution and separation. We can
think of the tin as the malleable element and the sword that

punctures is made of iron.

Now, as we move into separation, we are ruled by Mars, fire
and the element of iron. There is more aggression and
force. We can think of this as the fierce fire that will be
needed to continue to burn through the inner and outer
veils of illusion that we must learn to see through.

Again, we are being asked to move inward to align with an
inner light.

In my experience so far, there has been a journey toward an
upper and lower light. My lower light was represented as an

image that I interpreted as the solid inner iron core of my
inner earth.

This was the beginning of my reaching my own inner
ground, foundation, or stone. It felt a little like hitting “rock

bottom”. Again, it is hard for us to see the big picture at
these times, but as time progresses the lens widens and we

are able to get perspective.

In alchemy, we believe “as above, so below”. We believe that
all that is in heaven is found upon earth, and so all that is in

heaven is also within the self. We are the microcosm of the
macrocosm, a mirror of it in miniature.

On the inner plane, one of my most vivid experiences with
separation involved entering into my own red hot iron inner
core. The reason that we require the fiery force of Mars, the
warrior, right now is that this inner descent requires quite a

bit of inner digging through our “dirt” to reach the inner
solid fire.

It is quite beautiful, you see, the inner core of the earth is
thought to be solid and spinning. The spinning of the inner
iron core is responsible for the generation of an incredible

magnetic field around the planet.

The Earth’s inner core is like an “inner star” which spins to
generate this magnetic field which functions as a shield
against harmful radiation that is ejected from the sun, the
“outer” star of heaven.

You see, the symbol for Mars is considered to consist of
both his spear and his shield. We have learned to use the
spear to pierce the matter within us in order to begin to

reveal the light of the heart, our upper inner star.
Now, we are using the iron spear to dig inward in order to
pierce the inner matter which conceals our lower inner star,
a more primal and physical energy that must unite with the

more spiritual heart energy.
Now we also need an iron shield. Just like our earth needs a
shield to deflect the harmful radiation from the “outer sun”.

3) Magnetopause. 4) Magnetosphere. 5) Northern tail lobe. 6) Southern tail lobe.
7) Plasmasphere.

You see, our inner lower sun or star (life force) is like the
earth’s core, and our inner upper sun/star is the heart and

is like the sun.

As alchemists, we are working to unite the inner and outer,
the upper and lower stars. This means that we have entered
into a relationship with both our inner star as the heart, and

our lower star as our life force microcosmically, and the
inner core of the planet and the outer star as the sun
macrocosmically.

We have entered the fire within, which is our microcosmic
mirror of the fire “out there”. Our shield will work on the
inner plane to shield us from the destructive forces of our
own demons which we discover within our own fire, and
pierce through with our inner swords, until we are purified
enough to fully face and embrace them and integrate them

back into the light.

We also will be interfacing with an “outer fire”. This is the
divine light, symbolized by the outer sun, which we must
learn to channel again within our little microcosm of self.

Like the earth, we will need an energetic field that will
function as a shield to help us to filter out what we receive
as we begin to pry ourselves open, in order to connect the
inner and outer lights as well as the upper and lower lights.

We are forging, recovering, ascending our Jacob’s Ladder,
the inner bridge between Heaven and Earth.

To do so, we must connect the lowest with the highest within
ourselves.

The picture below depicts the layers leading to paradise
from Dante’s Inferno.

I include this here because it shows that we must descend
into the center of the earth, in order to ascend into
Paradise. Alchemy agrees, and says until the stone
descends back to earth, it cannot be perfected.

Furthermore, in this image, I like how the inner core of earth
is represented by a pyramid, while the Paradise end at the
top is the inverse of this, an inverted pyramid shape. Mars
is represented by the cross. When we unite these pyramids,
or inner and outer/upper and lower stars, we get the stone,

the crossing of the vertical (earthly) and horizontal
(heavenly) realms.

Star of David
Union of Opposites

The empty-headedness, that we are connecting to the
process of separation, is like the loss of personal self that a

warrior takes on for their cause, as well as the sleep that
Jacob must succumb to, in order to apprehend the ladder

between the worlds at all.
As we execute the path of spiritual rebirth, we are indeed
warriors who have fully committed to an inner battle, in

which we slay and sacrifice our former self. Without the
fierce fire of Mars could we endure this work?

In dissolution, we pierced the heart. In separation, we
continue the work of severing the head or ego.
Separation is ruled by the element of air.

Air Symbol

To me, this could be interpreted as decapitation. The head
has been pierced by the sword, and the capstone/head of
the pyramid has gone missing. We have surrendered to
“losing our heads” in order for the divine to enter there.

4. Empty Handedness

(Alchemical Conjunction)

Trinity: Holding, Empty Handedness, Being Held

Copper Symbol

After passing through the winds of separation, we
rebalance through the union of conjunction. This was ruled
by the metal copper, and the element of earth. The direction

is the center.
Along the spiritual path, we must unite our inner opposites
in order to arise into what is formed through their union, a

higher being within.
Through conjunction we begin to undergo this inner

marriage of our inner bride and groom.
Again, being asked to turn inward, we will not be donning a

diamond ring, but again we are translating material into
energetic/spiritual. This means that we are bound to come

up “empty handed”.
We have learned to let go of the preoccupation with the
mind and matter, which typically consumes the energy of

the human condition. We have done this to commit to the
spirit which lies hidden in matter, within life, within
ourselves.

This inner marriage means we unite our light and shadow,
our male and female, until they dissolve their duality and
create the 3rd being, which transcends them both, the Holy

Spirit of the trinity.
We are emptying our hands, so that we may learn to
embrace ourselves within, and learn to be held by the

divine.
We are creating a diamond within, an indestructible light
being. Again, to perform this energetically, we must be

pierced to sacrifice some matter into light.
We go inward. We don our spiritual light robes, take our

vows of commitment to our inner divinity, pro-create
between our male and female spirits, in order to forge our
diamond ring within the heat and pressure of the earth and
the heart. We learn to love, accept, embrace, and unify the

forces within ourselves in the service of the light.

Earth Symbol

Conjunction unites the opposites within, into the center of
the heart. The heart, like the earth, has an electromagnetic

force field surrounding it.

For the earth, this protective force field is thought to be
generated by the rotating iron core at the center of our
planet. So too, our hearts are like spinning molten iron
(blood) cores, and perhaps this is what generates the

electromagnetic field around the heart.

We are conditioned into the fairy tale that love should
always move upward into passion and ecstasy, but nothing

can endure upward forever.

Through conjunction, our inner fire which is male, must
meet with our inner water which is female, so that there is
an enduring balance. Without this balance of forces, what

they create through their union cannot endure.

Sometimes, the affairs of the heart take us into deeper and
darker territory than we ever bargained for, and it seems
that the initial light and splendor is just a divine tool to get
us to take the bait leading us into the mysterious inner

territory of the heart.

I think the same can be said of the spiritual path. We have
all signed up due to some initial form of transcendent

intoxication, and now we have to get down and dirty for the
sake of becoming this light.

In order to forge our inner diamond, our inner gold, the
spiritual embryo, we need to harness the core within
ourselves.

It seemed I was in the stars for years upon my journey, and
really resisted the descent into my own molten core. Who
really wants to descend into that darkness? But, it seemed
that the power that was stored here, was required for me to

move forward to forge the stone within myself.

This core is our own personal power source, and perhaps a
spiritually inclined person has preference for the

omnipotent, shiny star world. For me, it seemed necessary,
as to harness that inner fire requires that we first meet it. In
a way it could be seen as a hell fire, as it is in the deepest

and darkest realm within ourselves, and perhaps our
shadows collect there, starving and craving contact with the

light.

For me, it seemed I had to descend all the way to that
central fire to bring the light of consciousness and connect
that inner fire back to the upper world. I had to travel to the
center of the earth in pure darkness during those years. My

task was to unite the light and the dark, the
inner/subconscious and outer/conscious, so that my

shadows were not running the show.

My empty hands were being used to dig deep, reach deep
within, until the core was met. The digging clears the inner

obstructions, the journey back upward brings the inner
light to the surface.

The Spiritual Life of Copper

Copper is widely used as a conductor. It is used for pipes
(replacing toxic lead) as well as for electrical conducting

wires.
These modern uses as a vessel or conduit for both flowing

liquid as well as flowing electromagnetic power are
reflected in its connection to the heart, an alchemical vessel

of flowing blood and electromagnetic power.

Just as we spoke of the earth having a protective shield, the
heart generates its own electromagnetic field, more
powerful than that generated by the human brain.
In separation, we worked on the lower star within. In

coagulation we work on the upper inner star, the heart, and
so our work moves from the shield of separation into the
field of union.

As we learn to shield or discriminate, we are being
prepared to re-enter the field.

We can think of this as the microcosm of the macrocosmic
Unified Field Theory that physics seeks, in order to unify all

existing forces.

Through this heart field, we begin to encounter that we are
held by something far more vast than anything that we have
known. In preparation for us to merge into this field we must

re-learn how to open and receive it, which requires
surrender and trust.

Again, we are required to surrender and let go of all we
have held onto in being socialized into the material world
paradigm. For this reason, preparation for entering the field
means we must come “empty handed”. We must begin to

release the need to hold onto things and to be held by
others in order to transcend into the reality of being always

and forever held beyond our little separated self and
material duality.

We do this by being forged into conductors, allowing the
universal force to flow through us again. For this reason,

we must clear the channels, the garbage that we have
collected that blocks the flow of life.

The Copper Scroll was discovered in 1952 as part of The
Dead Sea Scrolls. It has been translated to reveal that it

seems to be a treasure map from ancient times.

So far, there have been no treasures discovered. But, for
our adventure this is irrelevant. I would like to use the

Copper Scroll as a metaphor for the heart’s treasure map,
which we must learn to translate, decipher, and follow upon

the spiritual path.

Copper is the metal connected to conjunction and is able to
conduct. Like the earth’s core, the “spinning” iron rich
blood within the heart’s core, generates the outer
electromagnetic field of the heart.

The heart is like an inner cave which we must bring the light
into, so that we may read the inner map by which to discern
the way of the directional compass that will lead us through

the darkness to our buried treasure.

The cave you fear to enter holds the treasure you seek.

-Joseph Campbell

The work of conjunction involves unifying the forces within
the heart so that it may properly conduct without

obstruction, and so that we may channel the universal field,
as any good Jedi must.

The heart has already been pierced through the process of
dissolution. This can be experienced as disappointment.

After I wrecked my car in calcination, it led into dissolution,
as I reached out to the men in my life and had to face the

fact that they were not available to me. I was on my own in
this way, on this inner journey through the darkness.

So, the heart has already been pierced and there is some
degree of radiation being conducted within which bridges

the inner/personal and outer/divine lights.

This piercing allows more conduction between this inner
and outer to occur. As we enter the dark cave of the heart,
we begin to generate or discover a form of invisible light

that we must learn to harness and focus to decipher the
hidden treasure map that it is our work to decipher in order

to know how to translate our inner light into the material
world and completely embody our destiny or purpose.

Remembering that the circulation of the inner core allows
the earth to generate its protective magnetic shield, it is
through the uninhibited circulation of the iron rich blood
coursing through the heart, that we are allowed to tap into
the field that this circulation creates. What this means for

us is that the more we liberate the blood that is stuck
emotionally within us, the more flow we embody, the more
powerful is the field that our heart is able to generate and
the more we are able to feel it, merge into it, and surrender

our smaller self into its incredible power.

There is a direct correlation between the free flow of the
heart’s blood and the power of the electromagnetic field

that we reside within.

This means that we have to work to release the stones of
stagnant blood which hold the pain that we have collected

through our life’s disappointments.
To strengthen our heart’s field, we are invited to embody the

north and south poles of the heart, the hope and the
heartache so that we may more fully merge into the Unified

Field.
We can relate this to the theory that the universe is in the

form of a rotating torus, as shown below.

Since we believe that we are the microcosmic mirror of the
universe, our heart field is the microcosmic model that we
have to harness. Our heart field resonates and connects
with the macrocosmic field generated by the universe. They
communicate because they are the same, just different in

size.
