How the Earth Calls Home EyE SEe tHE wOrLD
By: Haylee Ferguson By: Anonymous

The trees sway to the Earth's whispers and whistles.
Volcanoes erupt with hot ash when the mind of its planet becomes too
overwhelmed to control the rotation of the world.
The oceans' strong currents wash out memory that shouldn't be restored
and emotions that are considered a burden.
Lightning strikes when the body of the Earth needs an electric surge of
power.
A fog sets in when there are actions on the planet that the peoples' eyes
shouldn’t see.
Deserts form where a part of the Earth cannot sustain life because its soul
is damaged and torn.
Glaciers rise when the Earth's heart is cold and hard as stone.
Tornados roll around when events need to be turned in a new direction.
Earthquake cracks when people of the planet need to be broken up and
heading their separate ways.
Snow will float softly when there is a sense of calming and every living
thing is as peaceful as the white dove.
Then, the sun finally rises over the horizon to show the marking of a new
beginning and when the body of the planet wakes up once more.

Mrs. Vicki was one of the things that made Eagleville School so special. I will always remember the sound
of her keys. I will hold her deeply in my prayers. I remember that she always worked whether it was five
in the morning or eleven at night. Mrs. Vicki was a hard worker for sure and definitely kept our school
really clean. She really did love being at the school with the kids.
