DILG R03 Initiates 1st Regional Project
Monitoring in Aurora

To further capacitate and provide a common
understanding on the process of monitoring, the DILG
R03 Regional and Provincial Locally-Funded Projects
Monitoring Teams, participate in the conduct of Regional
Project Monitoring in the Province of Aurora on
June 18-20, 2018.
The project monitoring teams were divided into four (4)
groups. Each group was designated to monitor the
projects of Baler, Dipaculao, Maria Aurora and San Luis,
Aurora.
The site visit enabled each of the project monitoring
members to personally see the projects and their
functionality and evaluate the findings.
Recommendations were given to concerned local
functionaries for the maintenance and proper
implementation of the projects based on relative

monitoring tool was also used to identify the items that
are subject for improvement.
In his closing remarks, ARD Jay E. Timbreza, reminded
the teams of the fulfillment in seeing the impact of these

themeselves successfully passed the year-long, nerve-wrecking, induction training for LGOOs.

Ma. Christine M. De Leon from DILG Bulacan placed 9th in the overall ranking of the over 150 train-
ees nationwide.

The Revalida and Grand Graduation took place on May 31-June 14, 2018 at the Local Government
Academy, UPLB.

DILG R3 holds
Regular RMC

DILG R-3 regularly holds Regional Management
Conferences (RMC) to present and discuss the status of
accomplishments of the whole region as well as the
specific strategies in the implementation of the
remaining targets for calendar year 2018.
During the two RMCs conducted on April 19 and
June 26, 2018, Regional Director Julie Daquioag
congratulated and thanked the officers and staff for their
efforts in implementing the various programs of the
Department for the first and second quarters. She also
encouraged them to continuously work with passion and
dedication.
“Work with passion, do not let that fade away. Continue
to have joy in serving.”, said RD Daquioag.

DILG R03 aims for Stronger PLEB

The activity was participated by the DILG Field Officers
of Central Luzon and Provincial Focal Persons of PLEB.
The participants gained knowledge regarding PLEB
Legal Procedures which was discussed by
Atty. Ferdaussi B. Masnar, former head of NAPOLCOM
Legal Affairs, and the PLEB Online Database System
(PODS) presented by the PLEB Project Management
Office.

The PODS aims to centralize the inventory of cases
filed before PLEBs, viewable and accessible
real-time.

After the activity, a training roll-out will be conducted at
the provincial level to cascade the knowledge to PLEB
members and secretariat.
