In May, the Lewisboro Parks and Recreation department launched a card party to help celebrate the
101st birthday of Lois Reynolds. Lois has been going through all the cards—about 140 total—and want-
ed to thank the community for the outpouring of good wishes. Here’s her letter of thanks:

Dear Lewisboro Friends: handwritten messages, and especialy the handmade cards
It was overwhelming! So many wonderful people helped me from the children. I guess it gave them something to do during
celebrate my 101st birthday on May 31. It has taken a long the pandemic! So many people said, “Wow! Where do you keep
time to open the more than 140 birthday cards I received your recipe for a long life?” I just say, “Keep on going,”
