grass has been planted. A fence also has to be installed
to keep players from having to retrieve errant balls from
the adjacent woods.

Last year Lucas said the town needed more elds for
soccer, a popular local sport.

Getting that additional space, he said, will not only al-
low more practice for young athletes, but will give other
