SLX2


SLX2 features a unique design with downward facing fins.
The body and heat sink are slender to reduce both weight
and supply chain carbon footprint but provide a large
surface area for effectively dissipating heat.
The top is curved to discourage perching and bird waste,
whilst the downward facing heat sink is naturally resistant
to the build up of dirt, waste and debris, which can
significantly shorten the life of a luminaire by hampering
effective heat dispersal.

SLX2 is specifically designed for engineer friendly access,
in the event that maintenance or internal inspection is
required.
Key internal components are mounted on the underside
of the lid, which can be lifted away to present full access
without further disassembly.


SLX2 has been redesigned to eliminate unnecessary mass, significantly reducing
weight and windage whilst maintaining strong structural integrity and enough
surface area for efficient heat dissipation.

SLX2 is designed for comfort, with state of the art optics and warm colour
temperature options beginning from 2,200°K, closely resembling the hue of
sodium street lights.

SLX2 is fully compatible with any existing sensor technology and CMS software.
The luminaire can also be easily integrated into developing smart city
networks. SLX2 also comes with built in surge protection.

The SLX2 offers exceptional operational efficiency, with precision optics
designed to yield maximum useful output against minimal input.
Typically, SLX2 can offer a 65 to 75% average reduction in energy consumption
and carbon emissions against it’s sodium equivalent with a three to five year
payback.
SLX2 is expected to last in excess of 100,000 operational hours and comes with
a full five year replacement warranty as standard. Extended warranties are also
available upon request.
