TO US TSS





ALIYA LOGAN is an International Housing Intern and
assists in securing US housing for participants in
various Global Mobility programs. Aliya holds a degree
in Human Resource Management from Texas Tech
University, enjoys learning about different areas of
HR and is excited to gain experience at EY.
A Dallas native, she enjoys watching NBA games and
loves to travel with her family and friends.

KRISTELLE MARTIN is an Intern supporting both
Communications and Project Management teams in
TSS. She received her BA in Public Relations from UT
Austin and is currently obtaining her MBA from
Southern Methodist University.
Kristelle is a singer and an actress from Laredo, Texas.
She loves to eat out and has never met a cupcake she
didn’t like.

ASHLEY RIVERA is an Intern in HR Compliance, where
she is mastering the art of adding warm-hearted
personality to everything she does and planning on
improving her communication skills.

Ashley was born in Dallas, Texas, and had a very simple
childhood. For the last four years, she went to multiple
colleges before ending up at Texas A&M-Commerce,
from which she will receive her Bachelor’s in Finance in
summer of 2018.

She also has countless hobbies such as playing sports, reading, and watching the
stock market. Ashley is introverted and is perfectly happy just learning something
new every day, but she wouldn’t mind traveling to at least 10 different states (and
outside the US, too).

ANGELA SONG, an HR Compliance Intern, believes HR
is the backbone to any organization and essential to its
success. She finds assisting someone in any way is very
rewarding, which is why she decided to pursue this
career field.

Angela expects to graduate in December 2018 from UT
Dallas with a Bachelor’s in Business Administration.

In her free time, she enjoys biking with her dog and
binge-watching TV shows.

PROMOTIONS

RACHAEL CATHEY started with EY as a Customer
Support Team contractor in 2011 and then joined the
HR Compliance team as a full-time Operations
Administrator in 2012. She recently accepted the
Operations Analyst Associate position on the
Immigration and I-9 Support team, where she has been
working the past two years as Operations Coordinator.
Providing excellent customer service seems to be a
niche of hers.

SHENG HER is currently on a two-year rotation with
the FSO Talent Team. Be sure to congratulate her!

GREGORY JEFFERY began his EY career path as a
contractor with Offers team before officially joining EY
as an Operations Administrator. He then moved over
to Onboarding to both assist with its workload and
expand his knowledge, and he was recently promoted
to Operations Coordinator in Payroll.
Gregory and his wife graduated with their Master’s
from Ashford University in May 2017 — just in time for
their 23rd wedding anniversary. His goal is to never
stop learning or growing, as a professional or an individual.

TOYA JOHNSON is an Operations Administrative
Analyst (OAA) in Scheduling and maintains day-to-day
operations with two other OAAs. Toya has been with
EY for over 3 years, starting as an Experienced Hire
Scheduler before being selected to join the Executive
Scheduling team. She was then selected for the OAA
Flex Opportunity role and transitioned into her new
role as an OAA in early April. She is also a member of
the events team for Scheduling and TSS Events Team
for the HR Services Center.

Toya enjoys spending time with family and friends and traveling.

LADRISSIA LIGHTFOOT recently joined Scheduling to
support Executive Scheduling. Be sure to congratulate
her on her promotion!

As an Executive Recruiting Operations Coordinator,
JAYME MACDONALD schedules executive level (PPED)
candidate interviews with the FSO executive recruiting
team.

Since joining the Scheduling team, Jayme has gotten to
travel to New York City to help host a hiring event for
her FSO Advisory team as well as join groups such as
the Scheduling Welcome Committee, the Peer Advisor
Program, the College MAP program and the ECS team
— all of which have been rewarding to her in many ways.

Jayme holds a BA in Human Resource Management from the University of Central
Florida, and she enjoys running and playing with her chocolate lab, Chunk.

VICTORIA NUNEZ, a Recruiting Operations Coordinator,
works with both GigNow and Experienced Recruiters to
schedule candidate interviews. She believes that
scheduling is an important part of the recruiting process
as it’s one of the first impressions that a candidate has of
EY. Victoria has received special recognition awards from
both clients and leadership for her work, and she is part of
her team’s Welcome Committee.

While pursuing a degree in Human Resource Management, Victoria enjoys playing
board games and reading.

As a newly appointed Talent Team Coordinator,
JESSICA POWELL works with People Consultants to
manage transactions within the FSO Assurance Talent
Team. In her previous Recruiting Operations role, she
received recognition for her assistance in implementing
a new reporting tool for the Scheduling team. Jessica
is also a mentee in the Recruiting Mentorship Program,
in which Recruiters help Schedulers hone their
executive presence.

In her spare time, Jessica enjoys drawing, painting, writing, photography and
traveling.

BROOKE STONE, a Compliance Operations Coordinator,
helps with record management, charitable contributions
and PeopleSoft access.

During Brooke’s beginning as an Intern in 2016 with a
Bachelor’s in Business Management from Texas A&M-
Commerce, she especially enjoyed seeing candidates go
from initial interviews to hiring offers.

She then transitioned to Scheduling for just over a year,
where she continued to learn and grow professionally.
Though fresh to her current role, Brooke can’t wait to start doing all that she can
for the team.

Brooke loves reading, Zumba, going to antique shops and collecting records.

NEW HIRES

FATIMAT AKOREDE is a Payroll Coordinator. She
recently moved from Rhode Island, where she had been
working with Payroll for over 9 years and Human
Resources for over 14 years.

While working full time, raising five kids and going to
night school, she graduated with high honors from
Rhode Island College in 2015 with a BA in Business
Management and a concentration in Human Resources
— a testimony that it’s never too late to acquire knowledge.

Work and family are a way of life to Fatimat. She enjoys meeting kind, intelligent
and beautiful professionals at work who inspire her to continue to educate herself
and reach for. She also enjoys spending much of her time with her children and
traveling to historical places around the globe.

SARAH BURKHALTER, formerly an intern, is an
Operations Administrator in HR Compliance.

After graduating from Texas A&M-Commerce in August
2016 with a BBA, Sarah worked for 10 months in
Sydney and Melbourne, Australia. Shortly following her
return, Sarah looked for internships in the DFW area
through TAMU’s alumni network and soon began her
internship with the HR Compliance team.

Sarah chose Human Resources because she enjoys
working with people and wants to be in a role in which
she helps employees. Her current role focuses on assisting with employment
verification letters, updating certifications in PeopleSoft, managing firm-wide
overused time off and many other Core HR functions.

In her spare time, Sarah enjoys reading and is always looking for book
recommendations. She also listens to podcasts while she works, so feel free to send
interesting podcasts her way.

DERICK CALDWELL recently joined Scheduling. Be
sure to welcome him to the team!

JOHNNIE CISNEROS, a Recruiting Operations
Administrator, is responsible for scheduling interviews
with information provided by recruiters and
coordinators. Prior to joining EY, Johnnie spent more
than 6 years at Milliman, Inc., where he held several
Operations roles, from Specialist to Supervisor.
Johnnie has over 10 years of experience in the
retirement industry, with a concentration in qualified
retirement plans.
Johnnie graduated from UT Arlington, earning a
Bachelor’s in International Business Administration. His
core values in the workplace are a strong commitment
to excellence, an unending quest for constant improvement, and an unrelenting
positive attitude.

TORI EDWARDS recently joined Onboarding. Be sure to
welcome her to the team!

ASHLEY HARRIS is a Recruiting Operations Admin who
works with Experienced Recruiters across the US to
schedule candidate interviews. Ashley is about to
celebrate 5 years with EY and is a proud ‘boomerang’
(after spending 4 ½ years with National Tax).

In addition, Ashley serves as Membership Co-Lead for
the DFW branch of Unity, EY’s LGBTQA Professional
Network. She is proud to work for a company like EY,
which truly encourages Diversity and Inclusiveness in the workplace and beyond.

In 2017, Ashley and her wife, Jen, welcomed their daughter, Brooklyn — although
free time is virtually non-existent with a baby in the house, Ashley enjoys reading,
watching movies, and experiencing all the ‘firsts’ (visits to the zoo, aquarium, Santa
Claus, etc.) with her daughter.

As an Operations Administrator at EY, DAVID KIEMA
supports Recruiters in coordinating and scheduling
interviews with candidates all over the US.

David has a Bachelor’s and Masters’ degree in
Accounting from UT Arlington, where he was in charge
of the Goolsby Leadership Academy, a leadership
training program for university students. There he
recruited students to the Academy, managed their
scholarships, and planned and executed leadership
programs and events. David’s background in recruiting
and working with students is a valuable asset to US
TSS’s objective to attract talented individuals to EY.

David is an avid swimmer from Nairobi, Kenya.

Working with Customer Support as an Operations
Analyst Associate, PHOBAY KUTU-AKOI evaluates
processes and document procedures and implements
training to enhance overall quality and efficiency.

Previously, Phobay worked in Indirect Tax with the
Work Opportunity Tax Credit Department, 3½ years as
an Inbound Call Center team lead and one year as an
Assistant Account Manager. She also has a BA in
Psychology from St. John’s University.

A 2012 Track and Field Olympian and Certified Life
Coach, Phobay believes that putting your best foot forward daily cultivates a habit
of excellence. She enjoys traveling, reading, working out and spending time with
loved ones.

CRYSTAL LEE, an Operations Administrator working
with Offers, grew up in Austin, Texas, but moved to
Dallas to get her Bachelor’s in Business Administration
at UT Dallas. This role is her first job after graduating in
December 2017, and she is excited to start her new
journey into adulthood with EY.

In her free time, she likes to be outdoors, cook for her
friends and paint.

ERICA MCGEE recently joined Payroll. Be sure to

ANNIE ORLICH recently joined Scheduling. Be sure to
welcome her to the team!

HANNAH OWEN, on the Scheduling team as a
Recruiting Operations Administrator, works with TAS
and Assurance recruitment teams to schedule
experienced hire interviews. She has also joined the
Events team and looks forward to her first year at EY.
Hannah holds a Bachelor’s in Management and a minor
in Marketing from the University of Arkansas. Hannah
enjoys eating Mexican food and watching Oklahoma
football (Boomer).

ZOE PHIPPS recently joined Scheduling. Be sure to

KATIE RITENOUR recently joined Scheduling. Be sure

TREVOR STANSELL is a Scheduler and coordinates
schedules for potential candidates for nationwide job
openings.
Trevor holds a Bachelor’s in Business Administration
from Sam Houston State University.
He enjoys Oklahoma Sooners football and fishing.

GERARDO ZERMENO helps schedule candidate
interviews as a Recruiting Operations Administrator. He
believes that your attitude is your strongest tool in
completing a task. Gerardo has worked with several law
firms in the Dallas area helping victims of personal
injury accidents secure just settlements.
Gerardo holds a Bachelor’s in Political Science from the
University of North Texas, where he was involved in
several organizations, including League of United
Latino American Citizens and Phi Iota Alpha Fraternity,
Inc.
Gerardo enjoys watching boxing matches and grilling in nice weather.
