ALPHABET ADVENTURES

Now I know my ABCs, won’t you come and learn with me? Make the alphabet come to life through
a wide variety of arts and crafts activities. Alphabet Adventures will expose your budding scholar to
learning letter-sound relationships, letter formation and sensory experiences. Get ready for an adventure
with the alphabet!

Research shows that kids lose an average of one month of learning over the summer break. Help your
child retain and gain knowledge in an engaging environment by enrolling now in these summer classes.

Small Wonders Alphabet Adventures will run from June 16th to August 20th. Small Wonders Preschool
teachers provide lessons and activities that are both educational and fun for your preschool age child.

Whether you are a brand new preschooler or a returning preschooler, these classes will provide young
learners with the opportunity to develop their creativity and discover the world around them. For
returning preschoolers, these classes will offer your child the routine they have learned through the
school year and for new preschoolers, these classes will help your child start the new school year with
confidence!

About Kid Zone Kid Zone School Age Care & Enrichment

Kid Zone is a before and after-school
program which provides care and enrichment
opportunities to children in kindergarten
through 5th grade. Kid Zone is offered at each
elementary school and provides activities
on regular school days as well as all-day
programming on most non-school days, such as
teacher workshop days, winter break, etc.
The Kid Zone program is divided into two
different sessions. The before-school session
begins at 6:30 am and operates until the school
day begins. Children have a wide variety of
activities to choose from including arts/crafts, gym games, tech time, weekly themes, projects and
hands-on learning centers. Parents can purchase a healthy breakfast for their child through the
district’s breakfast program.
During the after-school session, children may join in indoor/outdoor games, recreational events,
homework help and enjoy an after-school snack. The after-school session begins at dismissal time
and is open until 6:00 pm. Both before and after-school sessions offer a balance of fun and learning.
Depending on each child’s needs, families can enroll in one or both sessions. For more information,
scheduling options and registration questions, call 952-232-2154.
