writers and guide as responsible citizens of our community.

Dear Children! Assalaamu Alaikum Wa Rahmatullaahi Wa Barakaatuh!
All praises be to Allah, the most Merciful and Beneficent. Your most liked magazine
"The Fragrance of Safa" is now in your hands.
Because this is the first issue, we want to introduce you briefly the topics of this
magazine. We have decorated this magazine with various useful and knowledgegiving topics
for you.
The first topic is "Lesson From the Qur'an". In this topic a selected verse from the holy
Qur'an with translation and brief commentary will be presented in every issue of magazine.

The second topic is "The Sayings of Prophet Muhammed (V~). In this topic also, a
selected Hadith (Saying of Prophet Muhammed (~V )) with translation and brief explanation

will be presented.

"Biography of Prophet Muhammed (~V ) is also an important topic of this magazine in
which we will present a part from the biography of Prophet Muhammed (~V ) serialwise in

every magazine.
One of the topics of this magazine "The Stories of Saints & Religious Personalities". In

this topic we will present any important event from the lives of Prophets before Muhammed

(V~) or the companions of Prophet Muhammed (V~) or any other prominent Religious

Scholars etc.
An important section of this magazine is "Prize Contest" in which some questions about

Islam or other general knowledge will be given. The one who sends us the correct answers
will be awarded a prize and the winner's name will be published in the next magazine.

This magazine also contains children's corner in which the stories and drawing sent by
our readers and children will be published.

You may also write the letters to the editor giving your suggestions and pieces of advice
etc. Your letter will also be published in the next issue with your name.

Besides these, the magazine also include many interesting puzzles, games, stories,
activities, jokes, riddles and many more.

4th February 2011 : The students celebrated SELF GOVERNMENT DAY. The

afternoon the students gave their speeches about the importance and greatness of the
teachers. After that prizes have been distributed among the students who performed the
best.

26th Feb 2011 : The school students went on excursion tour to Hyderabad

under the superviosion of teachers. About 60 students and 10 teachers visited to

Salarjung Museum. The students saw the exhibits of Salarjung Museum and possessed

the knowledge about that. After that they went to NTR Garden and played and

enjoyed a lot. They started from the school at 7:30 a.m. and returned at 11:00 p.m.

Every Saturday the class teachers conducts various competitions in their classes like
drawing, colouring, essay writing, speech etc. The students who get the I and II positions will
be rewarded with a prize.
