Get the Edge

with Flexible EOC Test Preparation!

If you weren’t successful on one or more of the EOC tests, take advantage
of an opportunity to Get the Edge with Flexible EOC Test Preparation! How does it
work? Just report to school on June 6 for an orientation session on instruc-
tional resources, including how to use Edgenuity, our district’s on-line in-
structional program. After that, your teacher will guide you into the right test
prep course, and you’ll have a remediation path that is customized and
“portable,” meaning you can start working from home—anytime, anywhere!
Of course, you can also come to school each day during the summer pro-
gram if you need more structure or teacher support to tackle tough skills.
Here’s what you need to know about the program:

Monday, June 6: Orientation to Edgenuity will be offered. While at school,
you’ll take a pre-test that will customize your review based on what you
need!

June 7-9 and June 13-16: After the first day, you can choose to work at
school OR on your own, with access to the State’s test prep resources, a cus-
tomized learning path through Edgenuity, or test-specific workbooks. If you work
independently, you can set your own pace, whether you need to review English,
mathematics, science, social studies, or any combination of subjects! Since on-
line access is 24 hours a day, seven days a week, you can take your review be-
yond the school walls—even on weekends or at night!

June 20-24: Testing days!

Does it ever seem to you that some people don’t think straight? Do some conclusions just seem obvious to you
because they seem to be the logical outcome? Join us to explore the concept of logic and illogical reasoning.
Explore logic in stories, scientific reasoning, deductive and inductive thinking, understanding music and art
forms, etc. Figure out how pieces logically fit together. Look at our world through the lens of a scientist, a mathe-
