CAPTAIN'S MESSAGE

TPC Kuala Lumpur OperatesAs Usual DuringThe
Fasting Month

Itried to go to the Club every day during the Muslim fasting month and found the
Club operating as usual. Although there were probably less Muslim golfers, there
were many more guests who decided to take advantage of the reduced golf fees.

Instead of going to the gym almost every morning, I used to go in the afternoon at
about 4pm and again I was very pleased to see so many Members at the gym.

Dato Mustafa Muhammad Ali I also noticed that some Members and guests who have booked tables for the Buka
Club Captain Puasa named Lambaian Rasa (breaking of the fast) at 7.20pm normally came early to
enjoy the atmosphere of the Club. I think what happens is that most Companies and
the Government allow their staff to leave early at about 3 or 4pm during the fasting
month and instead of going home and coming back to the Club, they decided to
come straight there.

I understand that the Club high quality excess food from the Lambaian Rasa dinner
would be packed for distribution to the homeless and under-privileged family in the
Klang Valley.

I checked with the staff about this year’s Lambaian Rasa and was advised that
there had been a very good response. On the first day it was open, there were
400 bookings. On the second there were 600 and on the weekends, about 800 to
1000. In fact, the facilities around the swimming pool and the tournament room
can accommodate 1200 guests. In addition, guests and Members may also make
a special booking for a minimum of 80 persons for the luxurious piano lounge at a
more economical price.

I understand some companies also purchased tables for their Muslim and non-
Muslim staff to attend the Lambaian Rasa dinner function which I consider a very
good gesture and in the spirit of One Malaysia!

Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri.

CEO'S MESSAGE

“SharingAnd Caring”

Steven Thielke We are proud that throughout the Month of Ramadan, TPC Kuala Lumpur has
Chief Executive Officer again demonstrated our commitment to our CSR programme by raising funds
through the sales of the most popular Berbuka Puasa Buffet, in addition to the
TPC Kuala Lumpur distribution of “Bubur Lambuk” and excess food to those in need through our links
with the Kechara Soup Kitchen.

In addition to being rated by the Golf Travel Magazine as the best Malaysian Golf
Club amongst the Top 100 Golf Courses in the Country, it is entirely appropriate that
we continue to vigorously follow our resolve to be the leader in the Nation’s Eco-
Friendly campaign by implementing the Audubon Certification and Zero plastic usage
programme from 1 July. We are delighted to share with you the good news that in
May we have finally completed all the required components for our certification
in the Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary Programme which include Environmental
Planning, Wildlife and Habitat Management, Reduction in the use of chemicals,
Safety, Water Conservation, Water Quality Management, Outreach and Education
as well as Environmental Case Study. With just one last step of having their team to
come for a site visit – Your Club, TPC Kuala Lumpur is expected to receive our official
ACSP Certification by the third quarter of 2019. Be sure to celebrate with us as we
are the first and only Club in Malaysia to receive the prestigious ACSP Certification
of which we can all be justly proud. We are privileged to be located in such beautiful
surroundings and we are indebted to our dedicated golf course and landscape teams
for providing this sanctuary so close to the city centre.

Being the premier Club in the Country,TPC Kuala Lumpur emphasises the importance
of Lifestyle and Community that is truly family and sports orientated. With our world
class facilities, Members can enjoy professional coaching in Tennis, Swimming and
