Artist creates replica version of Boardwalk Plaza

Credle credited Zerby with adding accoutrements like replica Catts beach
shacks.

CHRIS FLOOD PHOTOS

LOCAL ARTIST TIMOTHY CREDLE celebrated the finishing of his Boardwalk Plaza Hotel replica with an unveiling at
the hotel June 12. He said the project was a year in the making and estimated it took him 600 hours to complete. Cre-
dle’s creation is made primarily from intricately cut paper that’s been glued together. This isn’t his first replica; but it is
the largest. “I’m on to the Great Wall of China next,” he joked.

Credle said Boardwalk Plaza Hotel owner Ruth Ann Zerby convinced him to make the replica. Zerby was in atten-
dance at the event. She said she loved it, but then pointed to towels hanging off the balconies of the rooms. “This is the
only time you’re going to see towels hanging like this, because we don’t allow that,” she said laughing.

Karen Mest, hotel operations manager, said the replica will be on display, beginning mid-July, in Victoria’s Restau-
rant, once a shelf is built for it.

CROSSWORD SUDOKU

Fun By The Numbers
Like puzzles? Then you’ll love sudoku. This mind-bending
puzzle will have you hooked from the moment you square
off, so sharpen your pencil and put your sudoku savvy to
the test!

Here’s How It Works:
Sudoku puzzles are formatted as a 9x9 grid, broken down
into nine 3x3 boxes. To solve a sudoku, the numbers
1 through 9 must fill each row, column and box. Each
number can appear only once in each row, column and
box. You can figure out the order in which the numbers
will appear by using the numeric clues already provided in
the boxes. The more numbers you name, the easier it gets
to solve the puzzle.

SAWGRASS NORTH

BECAUSE IT’S A
CUT ABOVE THE REST.

Rehoboth locals who live and work here sure know a
good thing when they see it, which is why salon owners
Stephan and Michael chose Sawgrass North. They knew
they wanted to live in a beautiful community close to
the beach and their business. They were attracted to
Sawgrass North for it's tranquil, tight-knit community
feel and they can’t wait to enjoy dinner parties with
neighbors or evenings in downtown Rehoboth, only a
few short minutes away from their new home.
