Annual Appeal - Residents

Community First Annual Appeal - Residents

At Community First Solutions, we have seen firsthand the difference one
person can make. But, what about when that one person unites with
many? The collective impact can change an entire community.

One hundred years ago, this not-for-profit began when an innovative
woman gifted her house to meet the needs of older adults, and a group
of philanthropists came together to make their vision a reality. Today, the
difference we make is magnified because as a group of not-for-profits,
united under one organization, we pool resources and expertise to make a
collective impact on healthcare, wellness, older adult housing, behavioral
health, pharmaceutical services and even early childhood education.

We deliver Meals on Wheels and provide safe transportation, so that
older adults may take pride in their independence. As people navigate the
healthcare system, we provide continuity of care to help them every step
of the way. We support individuals in crisis, especially those overcoming
addictions. We deliver affordable prescriptions from one of the nation’s
first not-for-profit pharmacies, while inspiring preschool children to
change their world by serving others.

Through the past century, lives have been impacted - not because of
one - but because many individuals imagined what a difference they
could make if they worked together to better their community.

From the moment Mom arrived,
she has been surrounded by
friends and a caring staff. We
haven’t worried about her for
a single moment. That peace of
mind is invaluable to our family.

Living here is all about the
people. Every day I walk
around and say “hello” to all
my neighbors. Even though I
have a hard time remembering
names these days, it sure is
hard to forget a great smile. A
great big smile means someone
is paying attention to you.
Someone cares about you.

TOGETHER WE MAKE A

Home. A simple word that carries so much meaning. Home is a
place where you make lasting memories, where you gather with
the people you love most. A place where important milestones are
made and shared with family and friends. But home is more than a
place, it’s a feeling too.

You chose this place to be your home, because your heart is here.

You feel loved, because you are surrounded by people who have
your best interest at heart. You feel secure because you know that
no matter how circumstances might change, someone will always be
there to take care of you. You feel supported because right outside
your door is an entire community of neighbors who have been there,
and want to be there for you too.

For a century, our communities have been transformed by the
residents and families who call them home.

Through your individual gifts we have been able to enrich our
campuses— creating welcoming spaces for residents and guests;
modernizing our healthcare rooms to promote healing and dignity;
and providing innovative programs like Opening Minds Through Art
that creatively engage residents with dementia.

Collectively, you come together to make an incredible impact on the
place you – and your friends and neighbors – call home.

COLLECTIVE IMPACT SUPPORTER,

When you give to Community First, you give to the home you love.
We rely on you as ambassadors of our communities and champions of
your friends and neighbors in all stages of life. We know you support
Community First because you chose to make this your home. Whether
you direct your gift to a program close to your heart or allow us the
flexibility to respond to the most pressing needs by giving to the
unrestricted fund, know that your gift will help us to continue to invest
in you and your home.

Please consider being a part of our collective impact by making a
donation today.
