REASONS TO JOIN

In today’s business world, students are becoming increasingly aware of
the benefits that arise from belonging to student organizations while
attending school. The opportunities to network with local business
professionals, expand interpersonal and communication skills, and gain
access to potential scholarships are just a few of the many benefits students
come across.

The Institute of Management Accountants, or commonly known as
IMA, is an international organization that can offer students several chances
to better themselves for a more successful career. The most comparable
organization that is currently active at UMKC is Beta Alpha Psi. The mission of
the IMA Student Chapter is to serve as a compliment and operate alongside
Beta Alpha Psi, so together we can help provide more added-value
opportunities and encourage growing active participation by aiming to best
accommodate all students at UMKC.
