Supreme Council this year was organised Supreme Knight
differently, due to the time constraints and the
venue. We had not used the Marriott Hotel before
but it was the only hotel in central Glasgow that
could cope with our event. Supreme Council was
starting on the afternoon of Friday 4th October.
Earlier on that Friday morning I, together with the
Board of Directors, Archbishop Malcolm and others
laid a wreath of flowers on the tombstone of our
founder and first Supreme Knight P J O’Callaghan.

Supreme Council began on Friday afternoon 4th
October and finished on Saturday 5th October at
12.30pm. This was a great feat and I thank all of my
Board of Directors and Supreme Councillors for
following the agreed timetable.

At the conclusion of Supreme Council on Saturday
we all attended the Centenary Mass in St Andrew’s
Cathedral, Glasgow. The Cathedral was full to
