That’s me!

Hi kids! Thank you for coming to learn about internet safety! Today we
are going to go over the rules of the web, strap yourself in we are
going to jump right into the CPU-defull thing we call the internet.

The first rule of surfing the web is having your parents help you connect
to were you want to visit, it being that you want to play a game or you
just want to look at pictures. Let your parents help they’ll help you
become a digital super hero!

You also have to remember not to visit any sites you haven’t explored
with your mom or dad before, there's no telling what type of bad
guys are lurking on that site.

Speaking of bad guys here are some you need to watch out for. Viruses
can be caught by clicking on unknown links, and websites. Popup ads can
come up when exploring pages and websites that aren’t secured. Lastly
bullies can be anywhere, if you encounter one its best to ignore them or
click off. Hit that red X!

One of the most simple rules of surfing the web is if you
make a profile on a website be sure to never give out the
password to anyone except for your parents. You can only
trust your parents with passwords.

When online you should never ever give out
your personal info, like your age or where
you live. If you are ever asked by someone
your address or phone number you don’t tell
them anything. Keep all of this information to
your self.

On the topic of bullying, if you are
browsing and a mean message is
sent to your computer tell your
parents and don’t respond to them.

As we reach the end of the list there are two more things you
need to know, when you are using the laptop make sure you are
using it in a area in your house that people are always walking
through. Just in case something bad happens.

Lastly, we need to talk about YOU! We have already
went over mean messages and how to deal with them,
but if you ever think about sending one…don’t it could
really hurt someone's feelings. Harry doesn’t like
bullies! Thank you guys so much for listening to me! I
hope you have a great time exploring the internet!
