The Truth About Your Smile

If you are like most people, your appearance is very important to you, and it should be, because it’s been proven
that more attractive people are perceived as being more intelligent, get dates easier, get special treatment from bosses
and co-workers, and also get better seating at restaurants.

It’s Unfair, But True

See, we all want to be attractive, but we can dress up, get the hair and make up done just right. Yet one of the
first things people notice, the one thing that makes a lasting impression, is your smile! Without a great smile you just
don’t look your best! I guarantee it!

Many people are unaware of how much of an impact their smile makes when being introduced to people, the
level of respect they are given, or even how it can affect either positively or negatively their relationship with their
spouse or significant other.

For example, Tom was a lifelong sufferer of a hideous looking smile. Whenever he would laugh, smile, or even
talk close up, he would always cover his teeth. And after years of drinking coffee, they were not only crooked, but
terribly stained too!

Tom never realized how bad it was until he and his wife got pictures developed from their most recent vacation.
When looking at the pictures his wife told him, “You know Tom, you better do something with those teeth. I gotta be
honest, they’re a real turn-off.”

Tom was so humiliated that he came in, and after just one visit, his teeth were fixed and his wife and family
were in awe! Most people think that in order to have a great change in the way their teeth and appearance look, they
need a lot of painful work done. But that’s not true at all. In fact, it’s never been easier and more comfortable to get a
more attractive smile than ever before, and I’ll tell you about it in just a minute.

But first, If you are reading this letter, I’m guessing you are experiencing one of these problems or situations:
1. Stained or discoloring in your smile
2. Chipped or missing teeth
3. Crooked smile
4. Black fillings
5. Or you really like your smile, but you know it can be even more beautiful

If you fit in any of these categories, I guarantee I can help you!

The Harsh Reality About Dentistry!

Hi! My name is Dr. Tom Bowie, and I want to congratulate you on taking the steps to find out how you and
others can have a whiter, brighter, more attractive and more confident smile!

I have created this booklet to educate people, like yourself, who want to improve their smile and don’t know
what questions to ask, what procedures are available to them, and don’t know that with the advancements in technology
(if a dentist stays up to speed with their training), that YOU can turn any smile into a 5-Star Smile in just a few short
visits.

The greatest thing about all of this is it can be done in a pain free, anxiety free environment, where you don’t
feel a pinch of pain, and can enjoy the experience!

See, I truly believe there is nothing more vulnerable than to walk into a place to purchase something and not
know what to ask, request, or demand for that matter.

For example, have you ever taken your car in to get your oil changed, and that is all you wanted, but the
mechanic tells you 10 other things that are wrong with your car? Now, he may be telling you the truth, but the problem
is that you don’t know if he’s telling the truth or not.

The same is when you walk onto a car lot to buy a new car. The car salesman is sizing you up to find out how
much you know, because they are going to be negotiating a price with you in a minute. If you know what you are talking

about, you will be able to buy the same car for a lot less than the person who walks in and doesn’t have a clue.

In my own opinion, there is nothing more unethical than to sell to people what they don’t need or want! Or at
prices that are jacked up, just because the consumer isn’t educated and doesn’t know what he or she is talking about.

That’s why I’ve created this booklet, so you can get pretty clear on what you need or want before you ever even
step foot in a dental office.

All Dentists Are NOT The Same

I think it IS important to know what procedures you want to have done, and what your options are. For
example, Betsy White is a local resident who came in and wanted 6 veneers put in, that would have cost her more than
$4000.00 easily, but all she needed was to have her teeth whitened to get the same results. This saved her thousands of
dollars, and I hope this report can do the same for you!

Following are common problems people have with their teeth and a few different ways you can get it taken care
of. There will be a couple that does not apply to you. Just skip over them, and go to the ones that do. By looking over
these before and after pictures and the procedures, you’ll be a lot more knowledgeable and confident when going into a
dental office, asking questions, and scheduling an appointment.

Discoloration of the Teeth

Teeth discoloration can be caused by staining, aging, or chemical damage to teeth. Some of the more common
causes of teeth discoloration are medications, coffee, tea or cigarettes. People who drink significant amounts of cola soft
drinks can experience similar staining.

Aside from staining, there are other factors that can affect the color of an individual's teeth. Genetics can play a
role. Some people have naturally brighter enamel than others. Disease can also be a factor and certain medications can
cause a discoloration of the teeth. If you suspect that there is an underlying medical cause for your teeth discoloration, be
sure to inform your cosmetic dentist.

Solution: Teeth Whitening
Whitening of the teeth is performed for patients who desire a brighter smile. Tooth whitening can be performed

to reduce discoloration and staining, or simply to provide the patient with whiter, brighter teeth. This is very easy and
you can see immediate results with this procedure!

Before Whitening After Whitening

Cost Range for whitening: $350 - $1000

Crooked, Oddly -shaped, Small holes, or Chipped Teeth; Too Small, Too Big -
Inappropriate Tooth Size

Solution #1: Dental Veneers
One of the easiest ways to treat teeth that are too small, too big, or have uneven surfaces is by placing veneers

over the tooth or teeth. It is very common for people to have imperfect teeth, either oddly shaped teeth, chipped teeth,
crooked teeth, teeth with small holes in them, or an inappropriate sized tooth or teeth that have an odd appearance.
Veneers, porcelain or plastic, are placed over the front teeth to change color and/or shape of the teeth. Veneers solve
such irregularities and create a durable and pleasing smile.

Before Vaneers After Vaneers

Cost Range for veneers: $1300-$2000 / tooth

Solution #2: Dental Bonding
By using dental composite resin bonding your dentist can restore chipped or broken teeth, fill in gaps and

reshape or recolor your smile.
Bonding is a composite resin filling placed in the back teeth as well as the front teeth. Composites are the

solution for restoring decayed teeth, making cosmetic improvements and even changing the color of your teeth or the
reshaping of teeth. Bonding will lighten any stains you may have, close up minor gaps and can be used to correct
crooked teeth. Basically, bonding will cover any natural flaws applying a thin coating of a plastic material on the front
surface of your teeth. The traditional silver fillings last about seven years, these composites should last about seven to
eleven years.

Before Bonding After Bonding
Cost Range of bonding: $850 - $1150 / tooth

Solution #3: Contouring & Reshaping
For individuals who have chipped, cracked or irregularly shaped teeth, dental contouring and reshaping can be

just the ticket for a more beautiful smile.
Tooth reshaping, or contouring, is one of few instant treatments now available in cosmetic dentistry. Dental

reshaping and contouring is a procedure to correct crooked teeth, chipped teeth, cracked teeth or even overlapping teeth
in just one session.

If you want your teeth to appear less crowded, lack chips and fractures, have decreased overlaps or to be without
pits or grooves in the enamel, this procedure should be discussed with your cosmetic dentist. With a little dental
contouring, you can make a huge difference in the way you feel about your smile. Good cosmetic dentistry can give you
a smile that is the envy of others. The good news is that tooth contouring by a cosmetic dentist does require that you
have normal, healthy teeth.

Tooth reshaping, or tooth sculpting, is a safe and conservative way to improve your smile. Teeth may become
weaker if large amounts of enamel are removed, tooth reshaping should be limited to minor changes or combined with
veneers or bonding for the best smile.

Cost Range for contouring and reshaping: usually depends on the degree of reshaping needed

Missing Teeth

If you're missing one tooth or all of your teeth, implants may be the perfect thing for you. If you have a small
dental bridge or partial dentures, implants will be a welcome alternative. Implants are an alternative to a fixed bridge.
What is great about implants is that they can last a lifetime, but the crown on top of it will last ten to fifteen years. If
there are any problems with either of them before those times, we will fix them for free. (Make sure you read our
Guarantees in the letter)

Solution#1: Mini Dental Implant Dentures
While nothing could ever replace or be better than your real teeth, I am hear to tell you that you’ll no longer

need to worry about all the common problems you are currently experiencing with your current dentures.
There IS a way that you can have stronger teeth, a better bite, and more confidence that your teeth won’t move

around or fall out at the wrong moments, and all of this can be done in just a few hours or less without Surgery,
Drugs, Or Healing time required!

Which means that when a you walk out the door of our office, you’ll actually have a denture that stays in place,
won’t move around, pop-up, rub, or fly out of your mouth every time you sneeze or cough. There’s very little post-
procedure pain, which we can take care of with a prescription anyway, and the cost to you is much less when compared
to conventional implants! It’s simply amazing!

The greatest thing about these new dentures is that it allows you to have more confidence and prevents the fear
of your dentures pulling up when you chew, or falling out of place when talking with others. Plus this new procedure is
faster, costs less than conventional and slower procedures, and requires no healing time.

We are one of the few dental practices in the area who offer this new procedure.

Before Dentures After Dentures

Cost range for dentures: $2500 - $4000 per denture
Cost range for Mini-Dental Implants: depends on the conditions of your mouth and current denture

Solution #2: Dental Bridge
A dental bridge is a false tooth that is fused between two crowns to fill in the area left by a missing tooth. The

two crowns holding it in place that are attached onto your teeth on each side of the false tooth. This is known as a fixed
bridge. This procedure is used to replace one or more missing teeth. Fixed bridges cannot be taken out of your mouth as
you might do with removable partial dentures.

In areas of your mouth that are under less stress, such as your front teeth, a cantilever bridge may be used.
Cantilever bridges are used when there are teeth on only one side of the open space. Bridges can reduce your risk of gum
disease, help correct some bite issues and even improve your speech. Bridges require your commitment to serious oral
hygiene, but will last as long as ten years or more

If you have missing teeth and have good oral hygiene practices, you should discuss this procedure with your
cosmetic dentist. If spaces are left unfilled, they may cause the surrounding teeth to drift out of position. Additionally,
spaces from missing teeth can cause your other teeth and your gums to become far more susceptible to tooth decay and
gum disease.

Before Bridge After Bridge

Cost Range Of A Dental Bridge: $ 1575 - $1775 / tooth

I’m assuming after looking over this booklet you’ll have questions. Before you call any dental office, I want to
bring to your attention a couple common misconceptions consumers have when choosing a dentist, and a couple
recommendations!

Misconception #1 : The dentist that offers the lowest price is the dentist you should choose.

Maybe – but not always. Here are a few points to consider.

Point #1: The price you see offered may not be for the services you want performed. Before you select a practice,
decide what you want to accomplish. Usually, if a dentist is much lower in price than other dentists it may indicate that
they run you through procedures faster, and spend less time with you. This may not be good, because the focus is not on
quality.

Also, price is usually an indication of quality. More efficient dentistry may cost more. Better trained dentists who want
to give you more time and quality of service cost more. Reliable service and products cost more. You don't buy the
cheapest car, clothes, or foods. Don't let price alone be the deciding factor when choosing a dentist.

Point #2: The price you see advertised may not be the price you pay.

Many people have learned that the low price they saw advertised was not the amount they were charged.

And if you've hired a dentist, you too may have been the victim of false or misleading advertising. You probably learned
the hard way that some companies offer a cheap price – and then pressure you into paying a lot more once they get you
in the office. Some of them may not even mean to do it, but it just happens.

You'll find other practices – professionals like me who work hard to earn your trust and respect.

As a way of improving our profession, I've dedicated my practice to educating the public. The only way you can make
an intelligent decision is to have all the facts you need. This is why I give away this booklet.

If you're thinking about having your teeth examined, whitened, or you are looking for other cosmetic or general
procedures, I offer these three recommendations:

Recommendation #1: Make a commitment to yourself to get your teeth and gums examined every 6 months. The
longer you wait, the worse it will be(and costly!). Regular check ups will extend the life of your teeth and help maintain
their look and feel!

Also, 4 out of 5 people are walking around with the worst silent killer of teeth and it’s called periodontitis- aka
gum disease.

If your gums are bleeding when brushing or eating hard food, you have bad breath, pain or sores in your mouth,
gums are pulled back which make your teeth appear longer, or you see pus between gums and teeth, you must get in
right away!

Recommendation #2: Ask questions. The way you learn about a practice is to ask specific questions and listen
carefully to the answers. Here are the questions I suggest you ask:

• Do you have any testimonials from current patients who are satisfied and enjoy their experience with their
dentist? If you are looking to have aesthetic or cosmetic work done, you will want to see before and after
pictures of actual patients from that office like the ones in this booklet. Many dentists use books with pictures in
them, but the problem is that these are not his or her patients.

• The second question you’d like to ask is “Is there any warranty or guarantee given?” For example, if you bought
a washer and dryer, you will be offered a certain warranty that will guarantee that washer and dryer will work
for a certain time period, and if it doesn’t, they’ll replace it. Well, in our office almost every procedure has a
warranty so if a filling fell out, or a crown fell off, we’d replace it for no extra charge.

• The third question you’d like to know is what is the doctor doing to stay current and keep his/her skills up to
speed? Especially if you are doing a specialized procedure. See, there are so many dentists out there and some
are better than others at different procedures. So, you want to make sure the dentist you choose to do your
procedure is very experienced at it.

• Finally, the last question that many of our patients ask, and I think is very important is, “What does the dentist
do to insure that you are going to have an anxiety free and pain free experience?” It’s amazing how many
of our patients leave our office telling us how it didn’t hurt a bit.

By asking these questions and spending the small amount of time necessary to make an intelligent choice of a dentist,
you will help create a doctor-patient relationship founded on mutual trust and respect

Recommendation #3: Once you're satisfied that you're working with an honest, competent professional, set up an
appointment.

By following these recommendations, you'll gain all the information you need to make an informed, intelligent
decision. If you want the lowest price service, many practices in the phone book can help you.

But if you want great service by a well-qualified dentist, who can service your dental needs completely and
thoroughly – creating healthier, whiter teeth, preventing and treating your gum disease, and making your dental
experience an enjoyable one– then I invite you to call me.

I'll be happy to answer your questions – or have you come in and give you a Free Cosmetic Consultation
and Recommended Action Plan – without obligation of any kind. To reach me, call Barbara at 5161 741-1230.

Here's one last point: I know that many consumers are skeptical about dentists. I'm skeptical as well. So in addition to
dedicating my practice to consumer education, I do one more thing as well.

I guarantee my work. That's right. I fully guarantee every procedure we do. As long as you come in for your cleanings
and treatment as recommended, and you follow home our home care recommendations, if something we did fails or is
not riht, we’ll replace it at no charge. I stand behind what I do and put my money where your mouth is.

Because we are currently expanding our practice, I would like to offer this: “LET’S GET AQUAINTED OFFER”:

• A FREE Cosmetic Consultation
• Free Tooth Whitening

You see, I am confident that once you experience our quick, easy, anxiety-free and pain-free dentistry, you will select
