Noteworthy

● This PD was the​ best we've had in years!​
● Excellent workshop!! I got a lot out of it.
● It has always been my belief that when students love to read, their scores will

increase. It is hard sometimes with the restrictions placed on classroom teachers
to get students to love to read. I feel like I walked away with some validations
to my beliefs and ideas to implement in my classroom. It was by f​ ar one of the
best PD days I have had at CPS!
● Outstanding Professional Development!​ ! we should meet more with other
grade levels.
● This was the the b​ est and most helpful PD I have attended in many years​. I
liked being able to communicate with Dodd teachers and it certainly put a lot of
what we do into perspective. I am extremely appreciative that I was given the
opportunity to do this PD. Thank you.
● It was so valuable having an opportunity to have upper elementary school
teachers present in the conversation. We were able to collaborate and share
ideas as well as learn about the expectations at the elementary level vs. middle
level. It was also an eye opening experience to go through the Equip rubric and
assess one of our ELA units.
