The Need

The NEED:

For kids, families and staff,
it has been a privilege to be part of such an amazing journey ~ Robyn

In memory of my mom, I miss you everyday ~ Robyn

Once upon a time, there was a NEED.

It grew even bigger at an alarming speed.

Then came a woman who had a great plan.

She saw the NEED getting bigger and did understand.

She gathered a team around her real quick
because she knew her idea would stick.

From a basement they grew till they were three stories high.

The NEED got a bit smaller and the team, they knew why.

Service teams created program’s to help and assist

for parents with children who might have been missed.

was used to collaborate with each team.

Video modeling and real-time support
made implementing strategies a dream.

Soon, kids could take part in everyday things,

like making friends, and playing, and swinging on swings.

A caregiver comes over, giving parents respite.

Mom and Dad at the movies — having date night!

Children can play now with sisters and brothers.

There are vistual teams to help with hard stuff and bothers.

Kids talking with gestures or learning what to say

becoming more grown up and independant each day!

Because of the innovative tools called

Our communities got healthier
and our children did too!
