that he plans to play him at multiple positions.

“A lot of these smaller school guys play left tackle for their

USA Today about Cappa. “We really feel like he’s a guy that
could play across the line. In his college days, he did practice
some as a center too, and as you know, on game day when
we’ve got seven up, they have to be able to play more than
one position. So, we’re going to primarily work him as a
guard, but we’re going to work with him at everything. So
he’d be a right guard/right tackle, center for right now.”

According to the website overthecap.com, Cappa signed a
four-year deal worth more than $2.5 million.

35 Years with the Crab Grass Band!

Celebrating 35 Years! The ‘World Famous’ Crab Grass Band has been keeping ballpark crowds entertained since

1983. They just showed up one day and started playing for free. This group of musicians from the Humboldt area come
together each summer at the Arcata ballpark to play at Crabs baseball games and provide musical interludes pre-
game, post-game, and between innings. The band also performs the "Star Spangled Banner" in the absence of guest
performers. The band cites influences such as the Humboldt State University Marching Lumberjacks, Ozzy Osbourne,
Blue Oyster Cult, the Rebirth Brass Band, and Crabs’ fans.

The band attends a majority of the games. It is a volunteer organization supported by its members, the Humboldt
Crabs, and a few generous fans. All donations are appreciated and accepted!!! Feel free to donate to the band so they
can go on the road with the team. Travel is expensive. And remember to buy the band a beer!
