Universal Characters

● In the story One Good Meal Deserves Another the characters are a spider
name Anansi and there is a turtle.

● In the story Black snakes and eggs the characters are a snake,chicken and a
rooster.

● In the story The chief who was no fool there are many characters like the
chief,the neighbor,the old man,ziah,and the sheep.



Universal Theme’s

Universal themes of all the african folklore that we read was that you should
always make good decisions and think out everything ahead of time to insure your
correct and that you can get out of any kind of trouble if you are smart wise
enough

Theme/Message/Moral

In most of the stories the moral was about lying and negativity. In some of the
others stories it was about trust and how many humans are selfish. Many of the
messages were about what needs to happen inside of you like feelings and good
character traits.
