Welcome to the 2017 Education Awards

I am delighted to welcome you to the first Education Awards here in
the Midlands, and in fact, the United Kingdom as a whole.
Tonight is a night to celebrate and reward the most outstanding
contributors to the education industry and I am sure you will join me
in congratulating all of our finalists and winners.
I am a firm believer that industry should work in partnership with
education and so benefit the entire community. As such, our
award winners tonight will not only win the coveted award but an
opportunity to work on a project set by the sponsoring industry and
I am excited to see these projects in action over the coming year.
Of course we would be unable to celebrate such accomplishments without the hard work of a number
of people who have made tonight’s event possible. Please join me in thanking our judges for selecting
tonight’s winners, our ambassadors for supporting and promoting the awards, our sponsors for their
collaboration and enthusiasm and our speakers for their endorsement and contribution to tonight, and
to everyone who took the time to recognise outstanding achievements by nominating an individual,
organisation or educational establishment to let them know that they make a real difference.
I wish you all a wonderful evening.
With best wishes
Jas Rohel,
Founder of Education Awards
