every reason to expect an exciting New Year! Having an innate talent for recognizing people with skills and ‘can
do” attitude, Kelly and Ron recruited Rob in early 2010 to join
DataVizion in a similar sales position. At the time, Rob was the 5th
employee and even today his seniority is only surpassed by Kelly,
Ron, and Zach Kinnison. Although his position was focused on
sales, it quickly became apparent that there was need for better
processes to accommodate the growing services and related
products that DataVizon was now promoting to the Lnk and Oma
market. When Tim Nass joined DataVzion in 2011 as dedicated
outside sales resources, Rob moved into what is now his current
role, Director of Operations. In the last 7-8 years, Rob has seen our
company’s annual revenue grow from $500,000 to more than $12
million this year. He’s also watched DataVizon grow from 5
employees to 25+ and go from a virtual company (everyone
working remotely) to a company with office locations in Lnk and
Oma. Our market area has expanded from a local player to one
with regional and even national coverage. Needless to say, Rob
has contributed greatly to our company’s tremendous growth.

A few years ago, Rob experienced what can only be described
as the high-point in his life when he married Tara and became
dad to Mila (age 4). Then, when it didn’t seem possible that life
could get any better, Tara and Rob announced that they were
expecting a son. Samuel, now almost 1 year old, Mila, Tara, and
Rob live on an acreage in rural Seward Co. For those who
“feared the beard” and couldn’t believe it when he traded his
‘Stang and ski boat for a riding lawn mower, it’s been fun
watching him become dad and husband.

When asked to contribute his thoughts for the future of DataVizon,
he offered these comments— “We all have to realize we are not
the same “small” company we were just a couple years ago. We
want to maintain the values and fun that brought us to this point,
but need to stretch ourselves and ‘think outside the box’. This will
require clear vision from leadership and a willingness from all of us
to accept change, because stagnation will ultimately limit our
growth.”

For a guy who has seen and done a lot for DataVizion, it would be
wise to heed these sage words.
