Q: What kind of technology do you use in your classroom?
A: We use computers, interactive white boards, document cameras, and iPads.
Q: What are the benefits of using that specific technology?
A: This technology helps keep kids get interested and involved.
Q: What are the disadvantages of using that specific technology?
A: A disadvantage of technology is when the server is down, and you can’t access anything, but
you had it all planned.
Q: What are some ways you would fix the disadvantages?
A: Pray.
Q: Does your technology allow more students to participate at a level that is suitable for them?
A: Yes.
Q: Does it encourage broader community participation?
A: Yes, kind of…it could.
Q: What are new things you’ve used in your classroom?
A: Document camera.
Q: What’s the difference between learning and education?
A: Learning is actively involved, and education is a process of learning or what you’ve learned.
Q: What’s the most valuable lesson you’ve learned from your students?
A: Remember to have fun! They are only in 1st grade once, make it memorable. Be the teacher
you wish you had.
Q: How do you teach students something you don’t know?
A: I study and learn about it so I can teach it.
