From the desk of Lisa Regan,
PAC Executive Director

Dear Friends in Christ,
When life becomes challenging in and outside of the Clinic, I rest in
the knowledge that we are led by a merciful and loving God who
makes all things right through our struggles. God strengthens us
through his grace and calls us to share his compassion and love. In
our work together as the face of Christ and the voice of the unborn,
the spiritual and corporal works of mercy provide a roadmap for us
to do our small part in fulfilling God’s plan. Our human needs are of the body and soul; the act of
giving and receiving mercy allows us to respond to those needs without condition. I am grateful for
the opportunity to learn from all of you, from the Pregnancy Aid Clinic staff and our clients. In
community, with the gift of mercy and through our joys and sorrows, we shall love the Lord with all
our heart, soul and mind and love our neighbor as ourselves.

For Life,

Lisa Regan, PAC Executive Director

A Heart for Scripture

Our new logo is the combination of 4 hearts coming together to form a bloom, signifying
our heart for life, including all who are touched by our ministry and all who facilitate the
work. The "heart" symbol can carry so many important meanings. For example, a
mother's "heart" is a symbol of selfless love and the glorious capability of unconditional
love.
The "heart" symbol is so important that the Bible mentions it over 700 times,
expressing a number of concepts:

As a center of decision making:
"For from the fullness of the heart the mouth speaks." (Matthew 12:34)
As an inner center of thoughts:
"Take to heart these words which I command you today." (Deut. 6:6)
Where conversion takes place:
"A clean heart create for me, God." (Psalms 51:12)
As the home of good intention:
"Blessed are the clean of heart, for they shall see God." (Matthew 5:8)
"My son, give me thy heart, and let thy eyes keep my ways." (Proverbs 23:26)
As a seat of faith and love:
"Let us approach with a sincere heart and in absolute trust, with our hearts sprinkled clean..." (Hebrews 10:22)
As the fountain of life:
"With all vigilance guard your heart, for in it are the sources of life." (Proverbs 4:23)
