The Game’s Afoot by Ken Ludwig

November 10–12, 2017 at 7:30 p.m., Performing Arts Center
It is December 1936 and Broadway star William Gillette, admired the world over for his leading role in the play
Sherlock Holmes, has invited his fellow cast-members to his Connecticut castle for a weekend of revelry. But
when one of the guests is stabbed to death, the festivities in this isolated house of tricks and mirrors quickly turn
dangerous. Then it’s up to Gillette himself, as he assumes the persona of his beloved Holmes, to track down the
killer before the next victim appears. The danger and hilarity are non-stop in this glittering whodunit set during
the Christmas holidays.

TCCSTA State Play Festival Entry

February 22 - 24, 2018 at 7:30 p.m., Performing Arts Center
This is the Texas Community College Speech and Theatre Association State Play Festival entry. LSC-Tomball
Drama competes with many colleges from across the state of Texas. The event occurs over a four-day period with
two adjudicators critiquing and ranking each play. TCCSTA is a wonderful student experience, enabling them to
see other community college productions from around Texas. LSC-Tomball has brought home superiors and best
acting awards for many years..

Conducting Workshop with Maestro Brad Bouley (open to the public)

March 24, 2018, All Day, Beckendorf Conference Center
Maestro Bouley, Founder and Artistic Director of Texas Master Chorale, will be leading sessions on various
aspects of musical analysis and conducting technique. Contact the Music Department at 281.401.1845 for more

Greater North Houston Music Festival

Week of April 2, 2018, Multiple Venues at LSC-Tomball
LSC-Tomball will proudly host the Greater North Houston Music Festival. The mission of the festival is to showcase
the work of dedicated music educators and students, provide a positive environment in which to perform and
receive feedback, and bring together the community of music educators in the region for collaborative ventures
and idea sharing. Performance ensembles from K-12 schools around the region will be featured.

You’ve listened to our faculty and students perform all year long – now, enjoy this culminating experience of a
year’s worth of work! Extraordinary student artists, performance ensembles, and music faculty join together to
produce a memorable evening of music.

Musical: The Drowsy Chaperone
Music and Lyrics by Lisa Lambert and Greg Morrison; Book by Bob Martin and Don McKellar

July 12 - 15, 2018 at 7:30 p.m., Performing Arts Center
Winner of 5 Tony Awards (including Best Book and Best Original Score), The Drowsy Chaperone is a loving
send-up of the Jazz age musical featuring one show-stopping song and dance number after another. The Drowsy
Chaperone is a masterful meta-musical, poking fun at all the tropes that characterize the musical theatre genre.
