The marina is located in a tranquil village less than a mile from Roanoke Sound. The Marina offers excellent protection from the weather for vessels up to 150 feet. Quaint tree-lined streets with many specialty retail shops located right on the waterfront. Manteo is the principal town on Roanoke Island, the place where in 1587 Sir Walter Raleigh established the first English colony in the New World.

Miles Worrell is the Dockmaster at Osprey Marina, and Sherry Harrelson is the General Manager. “We pride ourselves on our professionalism and customer service that keep people coming back again and again,” says Harrelson. “The Southern-style family-oriented marina tends to every detail of recreational boating. We make every attempt to make the customers’ day on the water as easy, carefree, and enjoyable as possible.”
Inside the basin, 119 wet slips are available. When entering our channel, as of 2014, we have added 350 feet of transient dock. On our fuel dock we can handle up to a 100-foot boat. Each slip is equipped with 30 and 50-amp power and water. The ship’s store offers secured restrooms and laundry, beer and wine sales, marine supplies, free local calls, Internet connection and a small library.
