Halifax Harbor Marina has 425 floating concrete docks in the South Basin and 125 fixed wood pile docks in the North Basin. The marina has six bathhouses each with laundry facilities, guest phones, and data ports. Wi-Fi available at marina office. Diesel fuel and 89 octane non-ethanol gasoline along with free pump outs are available. There are eight boat launching ramps available to the public at no cost. Restaurant and full service yacht broker is on site.

The marina was carved from a huge spoil island with the outer edge of the spoil, now grown in with mangroves, left as a protective barrier. Nine piers host more than 320 wet slips and alongside dockage range in size from 25 to 125 feet. The marina includes a 50,000-square foot storage building, 280 dry-stack slips to 40 feet, laundry room, restrooms, showers, marine store, in-house mechanic and pump- out service. Custom-built Wiggins Marina Bull forklifts are used for the in/out service. The marina has 49 wet slips to 70 feet along with in/out of water accommodations for PWCs.
