PRAYER OF CONFESSION

O God, we thank You for Your gift of music and Your gift of song.
We often forget that You are the author of all things good,
Yet our lives are busy and our time is limited…so limited, that we often don’t
hear Your song anymore.
O Lord, how we want to hear Your song each and every waking moment of our
lives.
Forgive us for closing our ears to the song of the Holy Spirit.

Forgive of us our sins.
We humbly ask that you allow us now to tune our hearts to the very Song that
brings eternal life.
Help us to love You. Help us to love one another. Help us strive for peace.
Allow harmony to encircle our very being this very hour.
Let us again know that You, Oh God, give us song.

AFFIRMATION OF FAITH The Apostles’ Creed

Christian, what do you believe?
I believe in God, the Father Almighty, the Maker of heaven and
earth.

And in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord: who was conceived
by the Holy Ghost, born of the virgin Mary, suffered under
Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead, and buried; He descended
into hell. The third day He rose again from the dead; He
ascended into heaven, and sitteth on the right hand of God the
Father Almighty; from thence He shall come to judge the quick
and the dead.

I believe in the Holy Ghost; the holy catholic church; the
communion of saints; the forgiveness of sins; the resurrection
