Great is the LORD, he is exalted over all the nations.
We praise his great and awesome name – God is holy.

Our LORD is mighty, he loves justice and establishes equity.
We worship at his footstool – God is holy.

Exalt the LORD, call upon his name and worship him.
For he is the LORD Almighty – God is holy.

WPRAYER OF CONFESSION

O Almighty God, we know that Your love is eternally known,
yet this mystery is too wonderful to understand.

We call You holy – God of all creation,
but we serve other gods and idols of our own making.

We call Your Son holy – our Lord and Savior,
but we rely on our own genius and goodness to save us.

We call Your Spirit holy – our guide and comforter,
but we live by our own wisdom and discretion.

Forgive us, O Lord, we pray.
Save us from ourselves;
save us for Your holy purposes…
