Kaufman said a brother’s
experiences in a similar club
during college inspired the play.

“He was part of it for all
four years,” Kaufman said.
“He started out pretty hopeful
about it, and by the end, some-
what defeated about what they
were doing, about the culture
of sexual violence at his univer-
sity, on college campuses. He
felt a little defeated about what
could be done to address it.”

Kaufman started working
on Sensitive Guys two years ago
and, since then, the script has
been workshopped and rewrit-
ten several times.

The Jewish Federation Family Mission to Israel was another jam-packed family adventure!
From Dec. 21-31, six families from the Greater Philadelphia region joined together for a hands-
on Israeli experience. From floating in the Dead Sea to praying at the Western Wall to exploring
our partnership regions in Netivot and Sdot Negev, this family mission was another one for

associate, a new position in the AJC Philadelphia/Southern New Jersey regional
office. Buchdahl will launch and manage the Leaders for Tomorrow program, which
will train Jewish high school students in the Philadelphia area to advocate for Jewish
issues. He will also manage ACCESS, AJC’s worldwide young leadership network,
where participants learn about and impact domestic and international issues facing
the Jewish community and Israel.
