I’M FREE FROM THE CONSTANT
WORRY OF CANCER.

My mother died of breast cancer at 43, so I began mammograms at 30. After years
of monitoring, I knew it was time to take control. At Penn’s Basser Center for BRCA,
they identified my BRCA2 gene mutation. That knowledge empowered me to undergo
preventative surgical procedures to reduce my risk of cancer. From screenings and
genetic testing, to expertise in breast surgery, Penn is bringing the cure within reach.
My life is worth Penn Medicine.
