I got back to Minsk, I decided that I wanted to continue my Jewish journey and
discover more about Judaism.”

Vera enrolled in The Jewish Agency’s Summer Camp in Minsk, an experience
that allowed her to deepen her Jewish connections and gain more knowl-
edge about Jewish history and traditions. She was so inspired by her time at
camp that she joined, and successfully graduated from, The Jewish Agency’s
Educational Leadership Institute (ELI) for camp counselors, becoming a camp
counselor herself.

And Vera’s eagerness and thirst for Jewish knowledge spread to other
members of her family, too.

“My sister started attending programs and connecting with Jewish life, our
father became very active in the local Jewish community, and last summer,

Leslie Miller Greenspan, who was recently made partner at
Tucker Law Group, will chair Women Against Abuse’s board of
directors. Greenspan has been on Women Against Abuse’s Board
since 2014, and has served as vice chair of the board, as well as
co-chair of the events committee.

hosted Karl Middleman to discuss the Jewish aspects of the
movie My Fair Lady. Middleman has lectured for the Philadelphia
Orchestra and has received awards from the National Endowment
for the Arts, the Pew Center for the Arts and the Pennsylvania
Council on the Arts. He also teaches at Temple University.

Golden Slipper Club & Charities hosted a camp alumni day on Philadelphia Israel Bonds Legal & Financial Services Division honored Philip Rosenfeldt and
July 28, and more than 150 camp alumni joined for a reunion. Mitchell Benson during its tribute dinner held at the Fitler Club. There were $7 million in Israel
Bonds sales and indications achieved. The division honors individuals for service to the legal and
financial services professions and who demonstrate support for Israel.
