We performed a full renovation on three different
deteriorating stairwells in the Gentry Hall. We removed
guard rails, stairwell landings, siding, wood studs and
wood truss. We replaced with new Anthony beams
(structural wood beams for landings), new treated
wood studs and water proofed the entire system.

The CMOST team, Lamar University’s Assistant
Director of Planning & Design (Planning and
Construction), PDG Architects’ Senior Project
Manager and Lamar University’s Director of Housing &
Residence Life (Division of Student Engagement),
again worked together for the new dorm design build
back generating several mock ups (samples of actual
field conditions) and communicating to ensure the
project would be executed safely.
