DEVELOPING QUALITY ASSESSMENTS (TRAINING LENGTH: 3 OR 6 HOURS) - Creating assessments to determine student understanding is a
complicated task teachers face. Are my assessments okay or are they high quality? Teachers will explore types of assessments and learn ways to make each

DMAC LPAC (TRAINING LENGTH: 3 HOURS) - Participants will use DMAC’s LPAC application to facilitate the process of the LPAC committee by digitally preparing forms and completing documentation

DMAC RTI (TRAINING LENGTH: 3 HOURS) - Participants will operate DMAC’s Response to Intervention (RtI) application to review data to identify students with learning gaps, create timely
interventions for those struggling learners and monitor student progress while keeping families informed. For historical access, student RtI data remains part of the record in their DMAC portfolio.

DMAC TAG (TRAINING LENGTH: 3 HOURS) - Participants will learn how to utilize TAG (TEKS Assessment Generator) to build formative assessments. TAG is a high-quality test item bank aligned to state
standards for all STAAR tested areas and K-2nd grade Math and Reading. New features include format & print IN TAG; build your test in accordance with your curriculum blueprint; and filter or sort items

DMAC TEKScore (TRAINING LENGTH: 3 HOURS) - Participants will discover the assessment process in DMAC’s TEKScore application. Design a test key aligned to the standards, adjust item score,
take advantage of multiple options for administering the test (i.e., scantron, plain paper scanning, online student response and manual entry), and explore data-driven reflection of the results of

GUIDANCE FOR DEVELOPING AN IEP FOR STUDENT SUCCESS (TRAINING LENGTH: 3 HOURS) - Students identified to receive special education services require an Individual Education Program
(IEP) to be developed by the Admission, Review and Dismissal Committee (ARDC) team to address the student’s unique learning needs. During this journey, participants will walk through the steps

INQUIRY DRIVEN INSTRUCTION (TRAINING LENGTH: 3 HOURS) - Inquiry Driven Instruction is fueled by the student’s curiosity and imagination. Rather than the teacher telling students what

PLANNING WITH A PURPOSE (TRAINING LENGTH: 3 OR 6 HOURS) - Learn how to plan with a purpose by examining data, breaking down the TEKS, and creating a know and show chart. Through

CENTERS & STATIONS - I CAN REACH THEM ALL & KEEP MY SANITY (TRAINING LENGTH: 3 OR 6 HOURS) - Setting up centers/stations in the
secondary math classroom provides opportunity to differentiate, allowing for all students to progress to higher levels of critical thinking. In this session,

DIFFERENTIATION & SCAFFOLDING (TRAINING LENGTH: 6 HOURS) - Providing multiple, differentiated paths of instruction to a clearly defined
curricular goal can be difficult and overwhelming. In addition, it can be confused with providing structures that clarify and provide support for learning

SHELTERED INSTRUCTION OVERVIEW (TRAINING LENGTH: 6 HOURS) - Sheltered Instruction is a research-based model that has proven effective in addressing the academic needs of English
learners, which benefits all students. Using the Sheltered Instruction model, teachers design and implement lessons that attend to the academic and language development needs of their students.

SKILLS-BASED READING & WRITING WITH PURPOSE & CRAFT (TRAINING LENGTH: 3 OR 6 HOURS) - Our TEKS include several new strands. One of those strands includes both author's purpose

WALKING ON SUNSHINE WITH PROBLEM-SOLVING (TRAINING LENGTH: 3 OR 6 HOURS) - Problem-solving is about helping students see how math is part of our daily life. Students should be
encouraged to model their thinking with concrete tools, templates and models. Join me as we explore giving students a repertoire of tools, models and strategies to help students think about,

IEP FOLDER COMPLIANCE TRAINING (TRAINING LENGTH: 3 HOURS) - This session will train district special education staff on how to use protocols/checklists when reviewing
student eligibility folders to determine compliance in the seven critical areas identified by the Differentiated Monitoring and Support (DMS) diagnostic framework, including Properly

SELF-DETERMINATION (TRAINING LENGTH: 3 OR 6 HOURS) - This session is designed to promote self advocacy in secondary students through the transition and IEP process. Participants will learn strategies to

TRANSITION 101 (TRAINING LENGTH: 3 HOURS) - Are you new to transition? This training will provide an understanding of the components of the transition process, including transition assessments and compliance
issues in federal and state law. Discussion and activities will focus on the transition process as a foundation for the development of an effective IEP designed to enable the student to achieve his/her postsecondary

WRITING TRANSITION GOALS FOR SUCCESS (TRAINING LENGTH: 3 HOURS) - Post-secondary goals facilitate positive student outcomes. This training is intended to assist educators in understanding the
components of and the difference between measurable post-secondary goals and measurable annual goals in the IEP. Participants will learn how to write measurable post-secondary goals in the areas of employment,

A GLIMPSE INTO AUTHENTIC AUTISM-CHARACTERISTICS & SUPPORT (TRAINING LENGTH: 3 HOURS) - Participants will learn the
characteristics of students identified with high functioning Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), and how these characteristics might manifest into
behaviors that inhibit learning. Research-based strategies will be provided for appropriate social, communication, and behavioral interventions,

ALL THINGS LIFE SKILLS (TRAINING LENGTH: 3 OR 6 HOURS) - Participants will explore and discuss all things related to a Life Skills Classroom.
Topics may include: PLAAFP and Goal Writing, Lesson planning and Instruction, Assessment, Class Set Up and Structure, and Positive Behavior Supports.

AN INTRODUCTION TO HUMAN TRAFFICKING FOR EDUCATION PROFESSIONALS (TRAINING LENGTH: 3 HOURS) - This training will provide school personnel with the tools needed to become
familiar with human trafficking, trafficker tactics, risk factors for children, indicators of trafficking, what to do when a child reports possible trafficking, and what steps to take if you suspect

SENSORY SEEKERS? ACHIEVE A CALM & ALERT STATE FOR LEARNING (TRAINING LENGTH: 3 HOURS) - Do you have students who are constantly in motion, have difficulty with fine motor
tasks, use inappropriate force on objects (accidentally break things frequently, press too hard when writing, open/close doors with too much force) or play/interact too roughly with other people?

7-STEP PROCESS TO CREATING STANDARDS-BASED IEPS (TRAINING LENGTH: 6 HOURS) - This workshop will focus on the process of
developing Standards-Based IEPs. How are critical needs identified in the PLAAFP? What does it mean to align IEP goals to grade-level content
standards? How do I progress-monitor the goals? These questions and many more will be answered. This session addresses SBIEPs for students who

YOUTH MENTAL HEALTH FIRST AID (TRAINING LENGTH: 3 OR 6 HOURS) - Youth Mental Health First Aid is designed to teach parents,
caregivers, teachers, & school staff how to help an adolescent (age 12-18) who is experiencing a mental health or addictions challenge, or is in
crisis. This course teaches a 5-step action plan for how to help young people in both crisis & non-crisis situations. Topics covered include anxiety,
