WHAT is GiGi’s Playhouse Down

Syndrome Achievement Center?

Started with one Playhouse 12 years ago, when Founder Nancy Gianni’s daughter was
born with Down syndrome, GiGi’s Playhouse is now a network of 27 brick and mortar
achievement centers around the country and in Mexico.

We offer support and programming to individuals with Down syndrome and
their families and work to achieve global acceptance for all!

We serve more than 25,000 people each year with over 30 FREE
educational and therapeutic-based programs.

Our uniqueness lies in our PLACE. We offer a PLACE where families
can come for incessant positivity, unwavering support, and
absolutely no judgement!

What Kind of IMPACT
will you make?

We do not accept unstable government funds and are able to remove the

barrier of cost to families solely through private donations and partnerships.

Level Impact

$5,000 Provides take-home math kits for 20 children to help them better understand numbers!

$10,000 Allows 10 young adults with DS to attend the 15-week GiGi Prep program to prepare them for a
career!

$25,000 Supports the cost of speech tools to strengthen articulation and clarity, allowing 208 individuals
to express themselves!

$50,000 Covers the purchase of homework literacy materials for 415 students, granting them the
opportunity to read!

$100,000 Sends 47 GiGi U graduates to internships at GiGI’s Studio Café and aids in placement in jobs
throughout the community
