Outdoor activities

Spend time in the nature on your own or with a nature guide who will show you the various
types of natural environments. You may want to go rambling with your children in Sveafallen
and look at the kettle holes? Fasaskogen (Fasa forest) is another option where it is possible to
imagine how the robbers lived long ago. In Lunnedet, in addition to the excellent hiking trails,
there is a hiking trail adapted for wheelchairs and prams.
There are 37 other nature reserves that are also well worth a visit. Bringing your friends along
on a walk for “fine dining” in the forest is an experience in itself. We can also inform you of
the scenic bike paths and the mountain bike trail for those who want to go cycling in the nature.
Cycling on the railway tracks (draisine) is also possible on the excellent trolley line in Degerfors.

The Right of Public Access to Private Land (Allemansrätten)

You are allowed to wander freely in the nature, but you must also respect the wildlife and the people
living in the area. “Do not disturb, do not damage” is a simple rule to bear in mind. We don’t break branches
from growing trees. We take into account the regulations when making fires in order to avoid forest
fires and fire-cracked rocks. Fishing and hunting are never included in the Right of Public Access.
