Night at the  Instructions: One player will labeled as the Guard on night
museum duty. Like the Move the guard is meant to patrol around the
area looking for anything suspicious. Everyone else (the
statues) will be

 Objective: do not be seen moving by the night guard. Be the
last man standing

Mother Hen  Instructions: One person will be labeled as Mother Hen. Their goal
is to protect their child that will be lined up behind him/ her linked
together in a line. Her opposition is the Chicken hawk. Their goal is
to maneuver around the mother through movement alone no
hands. Respectively the mother must not use her hands either to
hold the hawk. If a child is caught by the hawk they must down on
the side. Whichever person has the most children at the end of the
timer wins

 Objective: the children will must last until the time hits zero. The
Hawk must reach and as many children as possible

 Equipment: N/A required

 Key skills: foot movement and maneuver capabilities

 Spacing: Entire gym floor

 Time frame:5-7min

Cat and Mouse  Instructions: Everyone will split into two teams on opposite
corners of the court or track. The teams will select a line up for
everyone in order to run the circumference of area being used one
lap per person. The Following person will run immediately upon
staging their teammates hand. The only way to win is to catch the
other individual before they tag their respective teammate.

 Objective: Catch the opposing teams member while not getting
caught

 Equipment: none required

 Key skills: stamina, leg endurance, teammate motivation

 Spacing: entire gym floor

 Time frame: 10 min

Ultimate  Instructions: Initiate Play: Each point begins with both teams lining up on
Frisbee the front of their respective end zone line. The defense throws ("pulls") the disc to
the offense. A regulation game has seven players per team. Scoring: Each time the
offense completes a pass in the defense's end zone, the offense scores a point. Play is
initiated after each score.
Movement of the Disc: The disc may be advanced in any direction by completing a
pass to a teammate. Players may not run with the disc. The person with the disc
("thrower") has ten seconds to throw the disc. The defender guarding the thrower
("marker") counts out the stall count.
Change of Possession: When a pass is not completed (e.g. out of bounds, drop,
block, interception, stalled), the defense immediately takes possession of the disc
and becomes the offense.
Substitutions: Players not in the game may replace players in the game after a score
and during an injury timeout.
Non-contact: No physical contact is allowed between players. Picks and screens are
also prohibited. A foul occurs when contact is made.
Fouls: When a player initiates contact on another player a foul occurs. When a foul
disrupts possession, the play resumes as if the possession was retained. If the player
committing the foul disagrees with the foul call, the play is redone.

NINJA  Instructions: Ninja Slap is a game like Tag involving a group of people.
The object of the game is to avoid having your hand touched or slapped, thus getting
eliminated, and be the last Ninja standing.
To begin the game, everyone gets in a tight circle, shoulder-to-shoulder, with their hands in the
middle. On the count of three, they jump back into a "Ninja" pose.
One-by-one and continuing counter-clockwise, each person takes a turn being the attacker and
tries to touch another person's hand in a single "Ninja" move. The attackee, to avoid being
touched, reacts with a single Ninja move. Only the attacker and attackee may move; all others
remain frozen. Whether missing, successfully hitting or avoiding, only a single Ninja move is
permitted and both must stay frozen in that pose.
If a person's hand is touched, they must leave the circle. The player to the right automatically
goes next and may choose to attack any other player. The person who is aimed for doesn't go
next; the next person is always to the right of the person who just went. The game ends when
only one person remains. Whether missing, successfully hitting or avoiding, only one Ninja
move is permitted and one must stay in that pose.
The person to the right of the person who started the previous round starts the next round.

Hello Neighbor  Instructions: 2 individuals: neighbors hide the items on the list(s).
Statue All other players must enter the neighbors home and look for the
items. Once found they take the items to a (obj. base).

 If found by the neighbor the individual must give the item back to
the neighbor if they have any, go back to their start point and try
again.

 Objective: Find all the items on list and go to home base

 Equipment: Treasure map list, items used to find, random
miscellaneous hiding places for people and objects

 Key skills: Identification, sound discipline, attention to detail,
stealth

 Spacing: Entire gym floor or two levels of housing

 Time frame:10 min

Three Legged  Instructions: Divide children into pairs, matching children of similar
Race relay height and build.

 Have each player stand next to his partner and put his arm around his
partner's waist.

 Use two ropes to mark a starting line and a finish line.
 Have the players line up at the starting line. At your signal, have

players walk or run as fast as they can to the other end of the court do
five pushups each and run back to switch out with the remaining
members of the team.
 Objective: First team to get everyone completely through both sides
win the relay
 Equipment: two ropes for both teams start and finish scarf
 Key skills: team work, rhythm, stamina management
 Spacing: entire gym floor
 Time frame: 5 min

Chuck the  Instructions: There will be two even teams. To begin the game, the player in
Chicken possession of the chicken will call “CHUCK THE CHICKEN” and then throw the
chicken to an open space on the field. As soon as they do so, the running team
gets into a tight circle formation and the player who threw the chicken begins
to run around the circle, scoring a point for each lap they complete.

 To stop the running team from scoring a large number of points, the fielding
team must field the chicken. To do so, a player from the fielding team runs
and collects the chicken. Once in possession of the chicken, they must wait for
the rest of their teammates to line up behind them. As soon as all of the
members of the fielding team are in a line, they begin to pass the chicken to
the back of the line using an over/under pattern. Once the chicken makes it to
the last player in the line, that player calls “CHUCK THE CHICKEN”, throws the
chicken, and the teams exchange roles.

 Objective: have your team score the most points within time frame
 Equipment: Rubber chicken
 Key skills: Speed and eye coordination
 Spacing: half of the gymnasium
 Time frame:5-8 min

Meteor Ball  Instructions: Class is divided into 4 teams and the gym is divided
into 4 playing areas.
Each team must stay in their area.
The teacher throws a giant beach ball into the game.
Teams must work together to make sure that the land does not
touch the floor in their area. To do this, they may push the ball
upwards (above the teacher’s height) into another team’s area.
If the ball lands in a team’s area, a point is awarded to the three
other teams

 Objective: first team to score 10 points wins

 Equipment: extremely large ball, cones, pen and paper

 Key skills: team work, dexterity, hand eye coordination,

 Spacing: half of gym floor

 Time frame:10 min

Popcorn  Instructions: have a group of children form a circle and have them write

their names and a number on name tape. They will receive a plastic ball
where they will write the same number on it. Once everyone has performed
this task, take a parachute or tarp and put all the balls in the middle. Have
the children line up around the tarp and shake it to knock the balls off.

 The persons with the last ball on the tarp is declared a winner. Each winner
gets a prize such as a pencil and exits the game. the game continues till
everyone has a prize

 Objective: be the person whose number on their tape and the last ball

matches to win a prize

 Equipment: tarp/ parachute, name tapes, plastic balls

 Key skills: good arm strength muscular endurance

 Spacing: half of the gymnasium floor

 Time frame: 5 min per round

Four square  Instructions: 5-8 players divided into even sections.

 There will be one designated king/queen in the middle of the group
that can make rules each round as the ball is served.

 The only way for someone to get out is if the ball lands in their area
floor, they hit the ball twice in a row, or out of bounds of the game.

 The designated out individual must move from their section to the
outer end of the square path. ( everyone else moves clockwise one
square closer to the middle

 This continues until time winds down the King in the middle at the
end of the time is the winner.

 Objective: become the king after the time frame ends

 Equipment: Square boarder divided into four even sections, volley
ball

 Key skills: dexterity, reflexes, listening skills

 Spacing: half of the gymnasium

 Time frame: 5 min

Snatch the  Instructions: two people tie a rope linking them together around
Cookie their waist with a harness. Both contenders will then lay on their
backs with their heads touching each other. On command Go each
will get up and try to run to the side they are facing. They must pull
the opponent with them in order to get close enough to grab the
ball or Frisbee labeled as the cookie. Whoever does so wins

 Objective: Grab the cookie before your opponent can

 Equipment: rope and harness around waist and chest

 Key skills: power explosiveness agility muscular endurance

 Spacing: half of the gym

 Time frame: 5 min
