04 WHAT I WILL BRING TO
THE SPECIAL OLYMPICS
SPECIAL PROJECTS TEAM

Having worked with organisations and businesses spanning many
sectors including sport, hospitality, retail, finance, international
aid, homeless, health and mental health services, I have learned
to adapt quickly to new envoirments and cultures. I am authentic,
open and honest which makes me approachable and supportive to
those around me, and supports the harbouring and maintaining of
great working relationships with a vast network both in Ireland
and Internationally.

I love to learn and I thrive from new experiences and
opportunities to develop and grow. This is why I have chosen a
career working on projects with a selection of clients that I enjoy
working with in areas that interest me. For this reason I bring
with me fresh new ideas and perspectives that can support teams
to take a different approach to further develop their organisation,
department or projects.

I am organised, focused, analytical and target driven, which
enables me to accurately measure the outcomes and impacts of
all projects or assignments, giving my clients and their teams
easy access to information to measure the return on investment
for my services.

I have a positive work ethic and always go the extra mile when
required to achieve the desired results. I am calm under pressure
and can make good decisions as and when required. If necessary
take ownership for any errors along the way, and work to quickly
resolve with the team.

TESTIMONIALS

MATT ENGLISH, CEO,
SPECIAL OLYMPICS IRELAND

ability to build strong and meaningful
relationships with management, board and

strategic partners is one of her greatest
strengths

Glenda is very driven both personally and
professionally and is very results-focused. Glenda has
many qualities and her ability to build strong and
meaningful relationships with management, board and
strategic partners is one of her greatest strengths.
During Glenda’s tenure at Special Olympics Ireland she
oversaw the Marketing, Communication & Fundraising
needs of the organisation through our very successful
2014 Ireland Games in Limerick and our World Games in
Los Angeles in 2015. Many new corporate partnerships
were formed. I would have no hesitation in
recommending Glenda and have no doubt that we will
look to retain her services again in the future and that
she will do a great job for a number of other
organisations in the sector during her career ahead.
